Facing the rocky outcrop of Roca longua and the castle of Moun Sere, this old stone forge offers an exceptional living environment.
In the heart of the village of Montseret and its picturesque alleys, "La Forge" will allow you to stroll to the rhythm of the song of the cicadas as well as walking the hiking trails on the Cathar trails.
Positioned in the heart of the vineyard and only a few kilometers from the Fontfroide and Lagrasse abbeys, the cultural and epicurean stops will satisfy the most demanding of you.
After a good meal on the terrace which enjoys a breathtaking view of the rest of the village and the castle, you can at leisure enjoy the shade of the fig tree or the pines for a little nap or the swimming pool with its waterfall for a improvised water polo game.
At the end of the day, as aperitif and barbecue preparations approach, the pétanque court will undoubtedly be one of the most convivial places.
Inside a library corner will delight both regular readers and the curious looking for the secrets and legends that characterize this region (Rennes le château, Bugarach ...)
The four air-conditioned bedrooms with oak parquet, beams and exposed stones will warmly welcome you in the large beds after a long day.

The house was fantastic we could not fault it in anyway Katherine and her family met us when we arrived and were very welcoming if you want to plan a family holiday away that is not over run with people this is the place to stay One consideration is you are much better off having a car

Nice house in quiet small town
We enjoyed the house and swimming pool. Unfortunately the airco on the first floor didn't work and the owner said it will be replaced. You have yo drive for at least more than half an hour to see something interesting.

Wir haben die Zeit und den Urlaub im La Forge sehr genossen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr liebevoll und modern eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Das Highlight der Kinder war natürlich der schöne Pool.

Je recommande à 100% La Forge ! Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison, tout confort et très bien rénovée. J’imagine le plaisir que se doit être d’y passer un séjour en été ! L’accueil était très agréable et nous avons été très bien reçus. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés !
