We lived in this house for years before moving 3 blocks away; we couldn't leave the neighborhood (we can walk everywhere).

- Owners live three blocks away, and are happy to offer recommendations on how to enjoy New Orleans! We love eating out and listening to live music and have some very strong opinions on the best places to go. We know you ll fall in love with our house, our neighborhood, and our city!

Travel crib and other baby/child equipment is available upon request - please notify us in advance if you would like it in the home.

Wonderful house. Would definitely return.

Big comfortable bedrooms. Spacious kitchen. Lovely shared backyard. Fantastic location near Magazine Street and right next to the best brunch and Bloody Marys (Atchafalaya). Attentive host with great communication. We would definitely rent here again.

Excellent Location

My group had an extremely enjoyable stay at this house. The location put us right close to plenty of shopping and restaurants. The back yard is fantastic , and quickly became our favorite place to congregate. Neighbors and passers-by were all friendly. Would really like to stay here again next time we’re in NOLA.

Great location. Home base had everything we needed.

Great home base location for our NOLA vacation. Great restaurants in walking distance. Comfortable and stylish inside and out. Everything was there - even shampoo, conditioner, soap, trash bags and coffee. Kitchen had all the basics, although with so many places to eat and drink nearby we barely used it. Parking was easy and right out front.

Gorgeous Duplex - Amazing Location

Incredibly comfortable beds and terrific location. Gorgeous, comfortable decor. Easy check-in. Loved the app. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to New Orleans. Upstairs bedrooms and beds are huge with terrific mattresses too but stairs are a little tricky.

About the host

We moved to New Orleans in 2003, bought this home in 2007, and now live a couple blocks away. We love our city and our neighborhood, and are excited to share it with guests!

Why they chose this property

We bought this home as our first home together - we love the neighborhood, where we have dozens of restaurants, stores, bars, and a grocery store all within walking distance. We lived here for years before moving a few blocks away to a larger house with more room for our kids.

What makes this property unique

We love watching the world go by from the front porch swing while enjoying a glass of wine on a hot & humid New Orleans summer evening - strolling to Magazine street for some window shopping - and catching Jazz Brunch at Atchafalaya across the street.
