Property was very clean, well stocked, and as described. Jim was an exceptional host and made sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay!
This was a beautiful place, not to close to people but just the right distance from everything to do in hocking hills. We enjoyed are stay and are thankful for all the things the host provided. We would come back again.
Myself and friends came down for a hunting trip, Jim and Amy were great, great people. They were super nice and accommodating, the cabin was perfect and a lot of memories were made. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
The cabin was well supplied with all the comforts of home. It was also very clean and kept up nicely. The neighborhood was quiet but also close enough to stores and restaurants. We would stay again.
It was the perfect property for a base to explore and enjoy the Hocking Hills area. The house/cabin was neat, clean and very comfortable for my wife and I. We enjoyed hiking at Hocking Hills State Park and Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve as well as kayaking on the Hocking River (Hocking Hills Canoe Livery-staff was excellent), even though water levels were low due to near drought levels. We found that Ohioans were much nicer than we were previously lead to believe (though we really did not interact with anyone with Ohio State logo wear :)) Great dinner at 58 West! Very, very nice trip and stay.
My family and I stayed in the cabin for a few nights while we explored the Hocking Hills. We felt secluded, yet close enough to stores and local attractions. We enjoyed our time in the cabin.
The property was immaculate and perfect for me, my wife, and my boys who had the loft to themselves. It is conveniently located near Logan and anything you want to visit or dine at, and at most was 15-20 mins from all the sites/locations in Hocking Hills State Park. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
Very clean and comfortable, well stocked and laid out nicely for our group. Owner was very attentive to our needs when we briefly lost power due to a storm. He even showed up to personally check on us. We would definitely choose this location again!
My husband, myself and our 4 kids had a great weekend stay in this cabin! It had everything we needed and was very clean! The kids loved having their own level of the house with their beds and a bathroom! We never felt crowded in the cabin even with 6 people! This is a great place to stay!
The Cabin was beautiful! Very clean and cozy! I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area. It has everything that you need.
The owners Jim and Amy were very pleasant and willing to answer any questions.
Hocking Hills was a great park to visit too! Amazing views and trails! Thank you for the experience!
We stayed two nights over a holiday weekend. My husband and four kids had a blast and the cabin was perfect. The kids enjoyed the large upstairs room and private bathroom (the teenage girls got the most use out of that). There was a huge storm and we had to stay inside and the games and movies made for a fun night despite the weather. Everything we could dream of needing was already provided and spotlessly clean. The record player was an awesome touch. The hot tub was extremely nice and I had to force the kids out to leave in time. Everything was wonderful!
We stayed at this great cabin for a weekend and it was awesome. Super convenient location. Not super far out in the woods, so you can still get to some great attractions around Hocking county. The cabin was clean and very well appointed. Will definitely be looking to book this cabin again.
The cabin was perfect for our family of four to stay while we explored the Hocking Hills area. The host was very communicative regarding the property, and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We would stay again!
Convenient and private location near Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. Cleanliness was perfect 5 star. The open floor plan was fun for everyone being together. The old LP stereo with records provided was a great touch. Will definitely stay again when we return.

Super clean, very well-stocked. There were even reusable plastic cups for my young kids! Great layout, really big kitchen for easy meal prep. I would warn parents of young kids that the interior steps are iffy for young kids (like all the cabins--nothing unique to this one). My 3 year old ate it a couple times, but that's just kids. My kids loved running around outside and playing in the creek. I appreciated being 3 minutes from civilization but still feeling really remote. All the hikes are about 25-30 minute drives. The cabin had some games and puzzles and good wi-fi. The owners were awesome and very responsive. The only negative thing I have to say about the cabin is that the couches could stand to be replaced, but everything else was fantastic. Thanks!
We enjoyed our weekend stay. The owners were easy to work with and the property was as advertised. The cabin had a lot of supplies for our use such as aluminum foil, paper towels, food spices, etc.

About the host
Hosted by Jim Jackson
We live in Columbus, Ohio with our two boys and enjoy getting away from it all in our family cabin as often as possible. We love this log home and spending time on the property and in the surrounding Hocking Hills. We want other families to enjoy the same experience as well.
Why they chose this property
What can we say, we love it! Our boys love the outdoors and sports and this property has lots of open space to play which is a rare find in the Hocking Hills. We love the area having both graduated from Ohio University in Athens and its short commute from Columbus.
What makes this property unique
It's close to everything and a short distance from Route 33.
