Set on a private 5-acre lot – adjacent to the gorgeous Mountain Cascades Lodge (also on a private 5-acre lot) – Eagle River Lodge is a stunning 6-bedroom, 7 ½-bathroom mountain lodge with space for 24 and an impressive list of amenities.

Each space in this industrial-style cabin has been beautifully designed, from the stone-and-long exterior and incredible indoor pool room to the elegant entryway and gorgeous game loft. No detail has been overlooked!  Whatever group vacation you’re planning – family reunion, church retreat, wedding weekend, girls’ getaway, big family vacation, or weekend with friends – Eagle River Lodge has the space, amenities, and style to make it a great one.

The fully equipped kitchen features double appliances, the living room boasts soaring ceilings and lots of comfortable seating, there are dining tables inside and outside, and the bedrooms are their own little retreats within the cabin. Add to those conveniences perks like the amazing private indoor pool (with a mini yard, waterfalls, and lighting effects), a game loft with a big screen TV and a pool table, an Xbox One, flatscreen TVs in the bedrooms, and you have a luxurious mountain lodge that’s outfitted for days of fun and relaxation.

On top of everything you’ll find inside Eagle River Lodge, this Pigeon Forge cabin is less than 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge. Within a short drive, you’ll be in the heart of it all, with access to dozens of restaurants, fun attractions, outdoor adventures, dinner shows, outlet stores, local boutiques, cafes, candy stores, and more. When you’re done exploring, you can head back to your private lodge for relaxing nights rocking on the porch, grilling, and enjoying tree-studded views.

A beautiful entryway greets you in Eagle River Lodge, complete with custom wood carvings, a shiplap-style bark wall, stone details, and a log bench. Step inside, kick off your shoes, and get ready for some much-needed rest and relaxation in the Smokies.

Once you step through the entryway, the spacious yet cozy living room awaits. Lots of mountain details make up the unique space, from the stacked stone fireplace that runs all the way to the ceiling and the huge log beams to the reclaimed-wood panels and national-park-themed blankets. Three cozy sofas flank the gas fireplace where the big screen TV hangs. Lounge around to watch ball games and TV or grab a drink and some snacks to set out on the coffee table. With comfortable seating, a cozy fireplace, a big TV, and huge windows that frame tree-studded views of the Smokies, the living room is the place to gather with family and friends to chat, watch your favorite shows, and just unwind after busy days exploring Pigeon Forge or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Eagle River Lodge features a beautiful fully equipped kitchen where you can make group meals, store leftovers, set out a spread of game-day snacks, or set up a catered meal. It has more of those gorgeous details that you’ll find throughout the cabin, including tin ceilings, natural-wood cabinets, reclaimed-wood panels, and granite countertops. It’s also outfitted with plenty of dishes, glassware, and utensils when you want to have meals in the cabin. When you’re ready to cook, take advantage of 2 ovens, 2 built-in microwaves, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and ample counter space to prep. It’s a bright, inviting space where you can bake cookies, whip up meals, and make holiday favorites. You’ll even have a lovely little window over the sink to enjoy wooded views while you get dinner ready.

An awesome kitchen calls for a great dining space, and Eagle River Lodge offers just that – inside and out. In the dining room, just off the kitchen, you’ll find 2 large log tables with a mix of chairs and benches. Large windows give you wooded views while you dine, and you’ll have easy access to the outdoor dining area via the deck doors here. On nice days, take your plate out to the dining table on the covered deck for a meal with a side of mountain breezes.

Vacation just isn’t vacation without a little fun when you’re hanging out around the cabin. At Eagle River Lodge, a game loft ensures entertainment for kids and adults, whether it’s a rainy day, a lazy afternoon at the cabin, or a laid-back game night. With exposed wood beams and reclaimed wood above, the living room open below, and the tree-studded views on each side, the game loft is open, bright, and features more of those industrial-style details. Hang out here to play pool, play a game of checkers, bust out your favorite board games, or lounge on the plush sofa and chairs in front of the big flatscreen TV. An Xbox One adds some more fun, so bring the kids’ favorite games!

The private indoor pool - at 87 degrees for comfort - at Eagle River Lodge is a stunner. The large room features beautiful wood ceilings, log pillars, and a cool stone floor. Along one wall, a stacked stone waterfall serves as a feature and fun place to hang out. You’ll find another waterfall on the other side of the pool, and in the center is a little yard! Walk along the log bridge to the green island, where you can lounge in the chairs while the kids splash around. The pool even has special lighting effects and a new salt-generating chlorine system! Around the pool, find lots of Adirondack lounge chairs and hooks for pool towels. In its own little corner, you’ll have a dining table and chairs, along with a big screen TV. You can flip on a ball game while you swim or let the kids pop in their favorite cartoon while they play! With such a great indoor space, you can swim year-round, no matter the weather. And with a table and TV, you can bring a board game or some cards and play while others splash around.

Each of the bedrooms in Eagle River Lodge is a retreat within this spacious retreat. Six comfortable bedrooms give you space for 24 guests, with king-size beds in 5 bedrooms and 2 full-size bunk beds in the other bedroom. All the bedrooms have their own TVs, and with 7 ½ bathrooms, there will be plenty of space for everyone to get ready before heading into town or calling it a night. Outdoor Spaces You can’t take a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains without spending at least a little time in the great outdoors. You don’t even have to leave the cabin for outdoor time when you stay at Eagle River Lodge.

The covered deck gives you a place to enjoy the peaceful wooded surroundings without worry about the weather. Sit down in the rocking chairs with a good book or a drink, fire up the grill for a cookout on a cool mountain evening, or take your plate outside and enjoy a meal at the 6-person dining table on the deck. Surrounded by the trees, it will be the most peaceful table you’ll find among the dining options in downtown! You’ll also have an outdoor hot tub where you can climb in and soothe tired muscles. After long days exploring the Smokies, it will be much appreciated!

When you’re away from home, little things make a big difference. At Eagle River Lodge, you’ll have wireless internet to keep you connected, and a washer/dryer in the cabin makes it easy to wash swimsuits, dry towels, or to have all your clothes clean before heading home. It also offers a paved driveway for easier parking and a Blu-ray player if you have some favorite movies you want to watch! We are always available to answer questions or address any concerns.

This property has the potential to be GREAT! It definitely needs updated bedding, pots and pans, towels etc. We also saw mice so that needs addressed. It’s a lovely setting with a great view and we had a great time.

Dissappointed with the condition of the property
We were excited to stay at Eagle River Lodge, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations, especially given the high cost. Upon arrival, we were given the incorrect entry code, delaying our check-in. We noticed visible rodent prints on the interior walls, which raised serious cleanliness concerns. A rodent or chipmunk got into our food supplies, forcing us to repack all of our unpacked items. The beds were very uncomfortable, which was surprising and disappointing given the price point. There were large holes on the exterior of the house, seemingly allowing rodents to enter the property. Nights were restless due to the sound of rodents running through the walls. The fireplace’s gas pilot light went out every day, detracting from the comfort and ambiance we expected. For the price, we anticipated a much higher level of quality and care. These issues significantly impacted our stay, and we hope the management addresses these problems for future guests. I would not recommend staying here.

Wonderful cabin!
My entire family was blown away by this home. It looks like a private Great Wolf Lodge with an incredible pool/waterfall on the first floor. I have already shared this listing with my friends so they can check it out. The kitchen and living room are spacious and the gas fireplace is perfect for a fall or winter evening. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for what we needed. It was just a short drive to Dollywood and about 30 minute drive to Gatlinburg. The kids loved the pool. We were disappointed that the fireplace was not operational during the month of October but everything else was great. The big kitchen was a blessing!

If you enjoy RAGGED out luxury lodges this is the place for you!
This place looks better online. The online lodge looks like it would’ve been incredible. Too bad that the place we showed up to had lost all the sparkle. I really didn’t mind the drive up the mountain until we got to the road/driveway because there was only room for one car or truck at a time and that doesn’t have any space to pull over My boss and my coworker both came over from different countries for this business trip and I was extremely sad and disappointed the WiFi was so bad that the only time they could FaceTime their families back home was if we were out in town somewhere. The WiFi was so bad it took at least double the time for the printer and scanner to complete its tasks that we even had to miss out on days we had previously made plans for due to not being able to get done with our work. The cable worked fine in the bedrooms but the whole week we were there we never got to finish a movie or tv series due to the poor connection. The first night we stayed at the lodge I had to grab my boss and coworker from Knoxville at midnight so after the scary drive back up the mountain and it being almost 1:30 am when we returned I found out the next morning that my coworker was up at 5 due to chipmunks shredding her toilet paper. The owners said pest control would come. They didn’t so we had extra guests all week. There’s a huge hole in the side of the lodge at the top. Also the grill had been rotted out for a long time. Don’t book ever.

Pros and Cons (6 out of 10)
Thank you for sharing your mountain cabin with us. The cabin was the right size for our party of 12. We were comfortable with the room sizes. Everyone was WOWED by the pool. The children spent many hours down there. The deck was a comfortable place to sit to take in the mountain air. Not everything about our stay was perfect. There are a few significant deficiencies that need to be noted to inform future renters. First, the mattresses are HORRIBLE!! Very cheap! We brought our own 3” mattress topper (just in case), but even that didn’t help. Good sleep is an important part of a high quality rental. Management, quality mattresses are worth the investment for your future quests. We would not stay at this cabin again for this reason alone. The comforters are dingy & there were stains on mattress pads and comforters…gross! There are no blankets in the entire cabin. Bring your own. There are no window treatments on the large window in the front bedroom. Anyone could see in, including the neighbor’s driveway in front of the cabin & the landscapers that were walking around one day. There are only 5 hangers in the entire cabin. Bring your own. 3 smoke detectors started their “low battery” beeping during our stay. We addressed the first one ourselves. We contacted mgmt for the others. Issue was resolved. Having 2 of each kitchen appliances was nice. However, there were not enough pots/pans/serving bowls for a cabin that sleeps 24 people.

Family time
It was perfect! The home was large, clean and accommodated us all wonderfully. We all enjoyed the pool, the game room, the large kitchen (really appreciated the 2 refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers) and the deck. Unfortunately the view was not as pictured due to the landscaping but it was still a pleasant place to hang out. We did use the fire pit for s’mores.

Nice Place
We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool and the outside deck was nice to sit on and enjoy nature. We did get to see two bears, which everyone thought was cool. There were a couple of issue. The A/C didn't work in a couple of the bedrooms but the property manager had them taken care of quickly. Two of the cabinet doors were not on properly and one of the dishwashers was missing parts to the top rack making it unusable. One of the outside chairs fabric seat was torn and unusable. I reported all of these things to the property manager. He asked if I wanted it items fixed while we were there or if I was ok with the items begin fixed after we left. I requested the A/C fixed immediately, which he took care of and the rest could be done after we left. I would like to add that the road to the property is all dirt and gravel so aspect your vehicle to be covered in it. Nothing a good car wash can't fix. Over all the property is a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our trip.

Family Reunion Success
With a pool like this one, your family reunion is guaranteed to be a success. We were able to get the kiddos to leave Dollywood without a fuss because we just explained we were headed back to swim! The only weird thing was that there are no hair dryers in the whole dang place. First time I've encountered that in any hotel or VRBO I've stayed at. The other weird thing was no free cribs or pack and plays for infants. They offered to rent me one for several hundred dollars! Forget it. We just bought one for $35. That's another thing that is usually part of the property rental and is free. Other than that, our stay was fabulous -- complete with a mama bear & cub sighting -- and perfect for our group of 20.

Wonderful Retreat!
This home is exactly as described. Kitchen is huge with 2 of every applicances, which large groups need. AC was working well and there was plenty of hot water. Porch is nice, too. The children enjoyed the pool (looks like it is designed by Peter Pan in Wonderland!) and we all loved the game room. Very quiet and secluded. Great stay!

Rules posted all over is not appealing and inviting! Worst part of this area is getting to this cabin! The road is trecourous and very scary so You have to ha e your mind about you. Once up there in the pm you get what you need because going up and down that mountian you can not see! No lights, most of it to the cabin is gravel and a one car wide road. 2 cars can not get past each other. VERY DANGEROUS! it needs to be changed

Very unhappy
We spent over way to much money for this cabin for 5 nights for it to have as many problems as it did. First night we got there, the upstairs air condition did not work. I contacted management and they said they would send someone out as soon as possible. They told us how to fix it, but it did not work and they never showed up. Saturday and Sunday night, it rained and the cabin leaked into two rooms, which our guest in those rooms woke up with wet feet and heads. There are a couple large holes in the Side of the cabin. I sent pictures, which no one still came out. We woke up one morning and their was an animal that maybe sounded like a raccoon or something scratching in the walls, I’m guessing from the holes in the side of the cabin. The indoor pool was freezing, so we only got in one day for about 30 minutes. 9-10 people in our family left on Sunday and went back home due to the uncomfortable sleep situation due to no air condition and leaking roofs/walls, which we had the cabin till Tuesday. Reached out to management once again and told them about all of this and they refunded us a small amount on a very expensive trip. We were very un pleased and will not be back.
