CENTRAL A/C…I stress this as you will need it 6 months out of the year. This year required 7 months.
Weekly rentals only in the summers. 3 night minimums in off peak times.
Please inquire regarding pets. Upper unit (2 floors) 2 KING BEDS and 3 QUEEN beds! 3 1/2 baths.
The top 2 floors can accommodate 14-16 people with more than enough room to enjoy games and TV in the living room. Every bedroom have TVs
The Bottom unit
2 bedrooms host 1 king and 1 queen bed. 2 Full bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully stalked and the living room can accommodate 9-10 adults. The carpets are all new June 2021.. there is construction going on next door but the owners have assured me that they would be courteous to the renters. I believe they are allowed to start as early as 7 AM but the owners were thinking closer to 730 and shutting it down by four. They said they would work sporadically on weekends. —update. The building framing has been completed on the 3rd floor.
Update 1/3/25…Ihave been told the house should be completed by June 1, 2025
It comes with everything....boogie boards, beach chairs and towels, umbrellas, shampoo, soap, detergent, linens, towels! just bring your swim suits! :0)) You'll love having Central AC.
This is not your regular 6 bedroom (2 unit house). For the families that want to be able to have a living area where it actually can accommodate 14-16 people all at once, this does! Even the bottom unit can hold 9 adults watching games etc. You can all eat together, watch TV, and hang out with all the family members with plenty of room and comfort in the grand room on the second floor.
Your location is walking distance to 3 quaint restaurants (pizza, mexican food, breakfast/lunch cafe) and a mini market. 2 famous bars are also in walking distance. Belmont Park is an historic amusement park and only a 5-10 minute stroll away. It is Located in South Mission Beach and was completed in August of 2007. I spared no expense with comfort and luxury as I sound-proofed the walls and provided all the updated furnishings. There is a 2 car garage. The floors are all travertine tile and counter tops are all granite. Spacious decks with BBQs and outdoor shower. It is 4 houses to the beach (about a 30 second walk).
The fireplace is nonfunctional due to liabilities. Belmont Park which features a roller coaster, bumper cars, an 18 hole putt putt course, shops, ice cream parlours, arcade, and restaurants. You are a 5 min car ride to Sea World. The airport, downtown, La Jolla, and the Zoo are 15 minutes away
. The Cannonball restaurant at Belmont park has great sushi/food overlooking the beach and only a 5 minute stroll away!
I built this house for great get together and when I say the units can furnish up to 15 people-it's no joke! Unlike the majority of rentals in Mission beach they claim more room than they can spare (i.e. sleeps 10 but the living room/entertaining area can only accommodate 4-6 people) . . .. I replace the couches every 2-3 years. They are upscale in quality. The kitchens are equipped with every utensil for any type of cooking. You worked hard all year . . . you deserve a luxurious vacation with your family and friends every year!
What's really cool is to go down to the docks in San Diego which is in downtown San Diego, and visit the retired Midway Aircraft Carrier, It's about a 30-45 min. self-tour on the ship which they give you complimentary head phones to describe everything about the ship and all of the WW1, WWII, Korean War, and Viet Nam Fighter planes/jets that are housed on it. You get to sit in the Captain's chair or climb aboard a real fighter jet or helicopter. ( I've taken 6 groups to see it in one year). It is also located right next to 5 other attractions that you can climb aboard and go through, Two 16th century pirate type ships including the Star of India, a Russian submarine with the torpedoes still ready for launch and a US sub next to it...a huge ferry from the turn of the century (19th), and a millionaires yacht from early 1900's. Then go over to the Fish Market for the best sea food in all of San Diego!sorry.
