The townhouse offers two living rooms with soft chairs, TVs, and large windows, including two skylights. The kitchen comes well-equipped, so you can cook all your favorite meals. Great vacation!!

Our family has been coming to Hilton Head for over 40 years. Now with our grandchildren this makes the 4th generation of our family coming to the island. Love being this close to the beach, it’s one of our favorite places to stay. Thank you!

Nice, but a little pricey

Our 5th year at this property and we really like it. Only concern is it beginning to get a bit too expensive. Could do an Alaska cruise for about the same price - meals included.

Enjoyable space and location

The unit was clean and spacious. Plenty of room to gather and relax. Proximity to the beach was very convenient. And Vacasa provided timely and clear directions, as well a quick response to an initial maintenance request. We'd stay again.

Loved it!

The condo was roomy and very spacious. Brought my family to Hilton head for a vacation. The home was beautiful and well stocked. Loved every bit of it. Easy check-in, easy checkout, and I loved the ability to stay later than the normal check out. It worked well for my family.

Beach walk Memorial Day week

Location was amazing Amenities were above average, except we were missing some basic items we expected, for e.g., laundry soap, a pod of coffee; just a sample or two of items to get by until you can get out to the store. A better attempt to control those palmetto bugs! Honestly, a heads up on the liquor laws would've improved our first three days, too.

Favorite place to stay on HHI so far!

We came to Shipyard plantation due to attending a conference held at Sonesta resort. It was a perfect location! Easy walk to the resort and to the beach. Nicely shaded areas for biking and paved path to beach for easy biking or strolling (with infant). The condo was well-stocked with all of the necessities. The only down side to this condo was the fact that it lets in a lot of natural lights with sky lights in the master bedroom and no curtains on windows in the other rooms (just blinds). This makes it hard to sleep past sunrise or allow infants/ children to take a good nap during the day. Overall great place and will probably look at staying here again in the future!

Beachwalk 126

We stayed in 126 Beachwalk from 7/23-7/30, and probably would not stay there again. While I understand bugs are a common issue, there were cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Upon arrival, the floors in this unit were filthy. I have twin 10-month olds who are crawling. The tops of their feet were black after being on the downstairs hard floors. Cleaning the floors/carpet was difficult because the vacuum in the unit is barely functioning. The A/C also really struggles downstairs. In the evenings, it read 77 degrees despite running all day. I realize it’s very hot out, but there are two A/C units, so I’d expect it to be cooler. Sweating all day at the beach and then sweating all evening while in the condo was very uncomfortable. I will say that the temperature was comfortable upstairs in the bedrooms. The code we were given did not work when we arrived at 5am (with twins + a 3 year old) after driving 9-hours overnight. I had to call customer service to have another code issued. The beach locker code that was provided also did not work with the combo lock. Additionally, the mattresses are terribly uncomfortable. The location was wonderful, as it was an easy walk to the beach. The pool at Beachwalk is nice but very crowded. For us, the air conditioning issue is a deal breaker, so we will not be staying there again.

Loved: the pool, close and clean; house location close to the beach; great bike and walking trails. So-so: general cleanness of the house. Not good: Mechanical maintenance (dishwasher didn't clean the dishes; garbage disposal inoperative; ridiculous TV controls; filthy windows, patio deck very dirty.

roomy and great beach access

A+++ location.

Clean, roomy villa and closest to the beach. Owner has the villa fully stocked with everything you need to relax, TV, cook and sun. Having a beach club locker rocks as it’s great to store your beach chairs, towels, etc. shipyard is much more relaxed and less crowded than Palmetto and Sea Pines. We loved it and this is our 2nd time in this villa.

Great location. Nice layout!

5 minute walk to the beach! The layout was nice with a living room and family room downstairs so everyone could spread out. The condo was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish they provided details regarding if there was a grill available for use. We didn’t plan on grilling so we didn’t ask. Just an FYI for the next guest. Also water pressure wasn’t great when multiple showers were in use but this was a minor issue.

Last Minute Choice

We were able to find this place at Hilton Head at the last minute, after Hurricane Isaiah cancelled our plans for a vacation in North Carolina the prior week. We were pleasantly surprised at the location and the closeness to the beach. The house was large enough for a family of 7. We took advantage of the trails to go on bike rides and play tennis on the plantation grounds. It was a good ending to cancelled vacation plans.

Loved our stay!

Our family has visited HHI for 15 years and have enjoyed this stay the most. Such a cute little place with a short walk to the beach! Bonus: you have the pool in your backyard. We love Shipyard and will definitely look to book Beachwalk 126 next year!
