Originally from Seattle, Washington Kendra moved to Aiken in 2008 for the horses and stayed for the friendly small-town vibe, the natural beauty of the area, and of course the special equestrian culture here. Aiken is a charming city with a small-town feel, beautiful historic downtown with fabulous restaurants and shops, many lovely free parks and museums, great golf courses, and a totally unique equestrian culture! The Barngalo is just 2.5 miles from the historic hear of downtown Aiken, but feels worlds away on 1.5 private wooded acres.
What makes this property unique
The Barngalo is truly a one-of-a-kind special property! Custom built in 2020, it has a modern, open downstairs floor plan with soaring ceilings, fun & colorful designer finishes and good quality modern furnishings. There’s a full kitchen, living room, great fully enclosed office & powder room. French doors open onto an all-seasons back patio that’s half-covered and half open air with a fire pit, propane grill, table & chairs, and comfy lounging furniture as well, all overlooking a peaceful pine forest view.
The upstairs is light and cheery with a comfy couch and streaming TV, a laundry room, and 3 bedrooms & 2 full baths. The primary bedroom is spacious with a queen bed, large walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with fabulous huge walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms (queen in second bedroom & 2 twin beds in third) share a second full bathroom.
