Fun for everyone!

Unbelievably picturesque property with an awesome view. Had lots of fun hiking local trails, going out to eat, and just lounging with the whole family on the private riverfront backyard beach. Looking forward to making this a yearly trip!

Great Family Getaway

This property for our family of 6 with plenty of room to spare. Small beach area on the river. Five minute drive to anything you may need… food shopping, convenient store, gas station, restaurants, etc… Close to numerous ski resorts. During summer months, very close to Story Land and the Aquarium. We would definitely stay here again!

Very cozy spot to relax

We really enjoyed staying here! It’s very comfortable and cozy, dog friendly and close to lots of outdoor recreation, dining and shopping. We enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing by the fire at night. The river runs right past this home. We loved the sound of the water and the view. I can imagine that summer here would be beautiful too. We’d love to come back!

Some time with children and grandchildren, sometime by ourselves.

It was a great property for all ages. The location was great, especially next to the river. The rooms were nice and the kitchen was really.nice. Two downsides: the kitchen was for tall people and the toilets were too short.

Wonderful Saco riverfront home

We had an awsome week. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location for many activities. But it is all about that gorgeous river.

Perfect location on the river

Loved the location of this house, and the bright, openness of the floor plan. Wi-Fi worked great. We imagine this house is used more in the summer months due to the river, however it was cozy for winter. There was definitely enough space for all of us, and the comforts of home (tv, full kitchen, washer/dryer) were appreciated.

A little bit of paradise next to the river

This was our second year staying at the Covered Bridge River house. The place was spotless, and the accommodations were spacious. Morning coffee on the deck watching the sunrise, listening to all of nature sounds. Spending time on the beach which was right outside the back door. Even when it rained the beauty of nature shown through

Beautiful spot right on the river

Gorgeous location. Direct river front. Home is beautifully decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet not bolted to the floor and rattles around when sitting and standing. Light switches were no where near the actual lights they control.

Great Family House

This house was perfect for our group of 2 families of 4. One family upstairs and the other downstairs. The house was super clean and had everything we need - the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was that when we arrived there was a 4' snowbank blocking the entrance to the front door that we had to climb over and then shovel before we could enter with our luggage. Also the location of the key to the garage was incorrect and we had to spend a decent amount of time looking and then finally calling Vacasa before we could access the ping pong table or trash.

Beware of 2 car parking policy

Such a large house only offers 2 parking spaces no exceptions. The house is managed by VACASA and they are awful. Please read our full review there of our week stay before booking. We won’t use them again if I see they are the Management Co of anything we are looking at on VRBO again. Have NEVER had a problem with VRBO in the many years we have used it.

Not like the pictures!

This property is not being maintained. I have plenty of photos of what shape the property is in, unfortunately no way to upload. You are greeted by weeds 3ft tall and random pales full of water and a dead mouse in one. Inside was dirty including a blood stain on one of the downstairs beds. Light bulbs out, outside furniture full of holes and stains. Dust an inch thick on the fans. Downstairs toiltet is so tight an average person will have a hard time using it, of they do watch out it's plumbed with hot water! Water in all the showers is so hot it burns! Very disappointed!

Do not recommend

Pros: location of property, near downtown North Conway Cons: this property is not clean. There as dust and hair everywhere from previous guests. The downstairs shower was not cleaned, half bath of soap left behind. Gross. There was so much trash left behind by previous guest. The deck furniture was not set up. The jetted tub is unusable. Very disappointed with this property and spent most of the vacation going back and forth with the “property manager” vs enjoying our stay.

Fantastic way to unwind connect with nature!

My family of 8 stayed at this beautiful property Memorial Day weekend 2024. The house is right on the water and has it's own private beach, water was cold but that didn't stop us from throwing some tubes into the river and going for a short float! The house had every accommodation that you could imagine - whatever we forgot, it was there waiting for us. Lighter for the campfire, salt and pepper, ice trays, etc. The house was true to its description - the loft area has a double and twin bed, first floor has a queen bed, the living room, bathroom, and kitchen, the downstairs has a queen bed, a twin bunk bed (smaller side - good for young kids), and a pull-out sofa, the downstairs also has the jacuzzi tub and the washer and dryer. The downstairs also has its own entrance and patio area. Great setup for grandparents and a family or in our case adult and teen children! It was within 10 minutes of amenities, about an hour from our preferred hiking trails but some closer with great views! Mt. Washington was on our list of sights to see but was very costly to drive up so we opted to hike about a mile from there instead. We cooked at the house and used the grill and stove and the kitchen was large enough for us to eat together! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Serenity on the Saco

This home is perfectly located on the Saco River. It has all the amenities needed for a family including tubes for the river. The home was very comfortable and had games on-hand including a ping pong table. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect for us

Our family of 6 had a great time! Plenty of space. Having another living room (with a pull out couch) and mini kitchen on the downstairs level with 2 bedrooms and another bathroom was a bonus. The sounds of the Saco were so peaceful and we loved the beach we had access to, along with the trails at the end of the road. We had a fantastic week!

A perfect relaxing and tranquil getaway

From the moment you pull up to the property, you see it’s charm. Once inside you will be amazed at the space and accommodations. Hardwood floors, lots of light from windows that overlook the Saco river. The river is right outside your door.
