Owners and sisters, Debbie Gianetti and Denise Forbes, invite you to come and enjoy Bootsie's Place, your home away from home vacation rental. Fully furnished with all you need to have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Sit out on the deck and enjoy Michigan's own peaceful little Lake Tahoe - a small 30-acre private lake, take the paddle boat out or just relax inside with a book. The house is very open and the sunshine fills the rooms and in the evening the sunsets are gorgeous shimmering on the lake. It has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. PLEASE NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE.

Comfortable and Peaceful

The house is comfortable and peaceful with a beautiful lakeside view. The house is not centrally air conditioned but we stay during the Fall so it isn’t an issue. Plenty of supplies to make your stay enjoyable.

Lil bit of Heaven!

We had such a wonderful Labor Day family weekend at Bootsie’s. There was plenty of room for all with the spacious living room and dining area. The back deck was huge and overlooked the beautiful little Lake Tahoe. Everyone took advantage of the peddleboat, rowboat, and kayak - so fun. Debbie was such a nice hostess and everything we could have needed was available at the home. We are already looking st dates for next summer. Thank you Bootsie’s!!

Great cozy lake house

We had a wonderful time staying at Debbie's place. The location was great, the outdoor deck was a fantastic place to hang out. Loved fishing off the dock every night. Debbie was very helpful and went out of her way to take care of me. Great experience! I would say the only downside is not having Wi-Fi. We will be back next year

Paradise!

Debbie is so accommodating and answers the phone every time I had a question! We love to BBQ while we're on vacation and with Macs Meats just down the road and an awesome propane grill provided we were set! Everything was super clean and lake was perfect. Will definitely had to come back to this place!

Clean and Serene...with everything you need

Found the property to be just as described. It was clean with everything you need for your stay, and more. The view of the lake is amazing and creates a very calming relaxed atmosphere from sunrise to sunset. The proximity to local wineries and the Dunes of Silver Lake was perfect for our stay. Would highly recommend Bootsies Place for rest and relaxation in west Michigan.

Kinda hard to get a group around fire pit , slanted on a hill, and we love to have fires, but it was fine. Nice quiet lake.

Wonderful week

Fantastic slice of paradise

We had such a wonderful stay at Bootsies place. The views were breathtaking and our dog loved swimming in the lake. Debbie was a very gracious hostess and was quick to respond to all our needs! We can’t say enough positive things about this place!

Nice place to get away

Quiet and secluded lake house. Within 30 minutes of various things to do - Silver Lakes sand dunes, beaches, restaurants, wineries, etc. Cell service was pretty non-existent unless we drove into New Era or another town - so plan ahead for any GPS/mapping needs.

Enjoyable getaway!

Bootsie's Place is comfortable and very well stocked with most of what you could need while away (plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, kitchen items, etc.). It's quiet and feels very private. I also loved how many things there are to do in the area (Lewis Farms and the Mac Wood's Dune ride are a must for families!). I really appreciated being able to bring my dog, too. The owner was very responsive to questions and helpful. My family greatly enjoyed our stay. The only things to be aware of are that Google Maps can't find the address - it brings you to the middle of a field. Sprint/T Mobile gets zero service there. The bedroom with bunks doesn't have rails on the top bunks, so we were unable to utilize them. On hot days the cottage is unbearably hot. The lake is quite mucky on the bottom. Lastly, there was a sweet cat hanging around - we named him Tahoe. Be sure to take care of him if you see him!

It was lovely living lakeside for a long weekend. The lake is beautiful and clean, and the west facing deck is perfect to soak up every bit of sun. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Comfortable, Homey and Quiet

The weather was not very good for our stay so especially appreciated the large comfortable living area and all the windows facing the lake. Did not see even one boat out on this quiet little lake during our stay. Enjoyed the ducks and geese. Unusual for lakefront property but no close neighbors and lots of trees makes for a very quiet peaceful location. We visited three different Lake Michigan Beach locations all conveniently within 30 minutes.
