Wonderful stay

Fabulous well-appointed house with amazing views and outdoor space. Will definitely come back. As others have warned, the road up to the house is long and quite rustic/gravelly,!

The view!

The house was exactly like the listing. They provided coffee, snacks and shampoo/body wash, which was greatly appreciated. The house is beautiful but that view! The view made the trip worth every penny!

Great Shenandoah getaway!

We reserved this property for an extended family getaway to celebrate a 50th anniversary. It was just what we were hoping for - beautiful views and privacy, with plenty of space for adults, kids, and dogs to enjoy some time away! We'd definitely visit this property again.

Great House, Spectacular Views

This was our first time to Luray, and we chose wisely - the house was very nice, the views unsurpassed and the folks we met in Luray couldn't have been friendlier - we'll be back!

Shenandoah Gem

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of staying at Shenandoah Manor for Presidents Day weekend. The unit it is well appointed and comfortable with great privacy. We were able to enjoy the outdoor hot tub three nights in a row that featured amazing views of the Shenandoah valley and national park mountains. We saw shooting stars while huddled around the fire pit and enjoyed walking out onto the top floor deck when we woke each morning. Will definitely return. The owners are super nice and considerate. I forgot an entire bag of dirty laundry when I left and they graciously agreed to ship them to me which was such a relief. Choosing this property for a relaxing getaway is a no brainer!

Beautiful house close to Shenandoah National Park

Quick visit for a hike of Old Rag Mountain. Fantastic stay for family of 5. Shenandoah Manor is situated in a great location with a stunning view of Shenandoah National Park. The house was very clean, in great condition, with comfortable beds and any amenities you could need. Our host was very friendly and highly responsive. We'd definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Beautiful view and home!

This place was absolutely perfect for our stay! The outdoor space was fantastic – plenty of room to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed...of course bring your own food. And the view? Simply stunning! We couldn't get enough of it. Watching the sunsets and waking up to such a beautiful landscape was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a gorgeous setting!

Amazing Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Shenandoah Manor! With breathtaking views of Shenandoah National Park, the home is well designed with sleeping quarters and a full bath on each of the 3 levels. The upstairs master suite has a private balcony and both mornings we sat on the porch and watched the sunrise. It was spectacular! Clean, spacious and just what we needed for an enjoyable weekend away. Be prepared that Shenandoah Manor is accessed by an unpaved gravel road. We took it slow and had no trouble navigating the road in a SUV crossover without 4 wheel drive. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to another opportunity to visit!

Beautiful place for a family or group of friends

This is our second time renting this property and I’m sure we will be back. There are plenty of rooms and beds as well as a gorgeous outdoor space. It’s so excellent to have a kitchen and game room as well as laundry when you’re staying up on a mountain.

Nice quick weekend getaway

Great views, close to two grocery stores, and lots of activities to do on the property. You'll definitely want a vehicle with 4-wheel drive to get up to the property - the gravel roadway is a bit tough without it.

Serene mountain getaway

My family and I loved this house and the nature surrounding it! Beds were comfy (including the pull out sofa beds, and I’m a harsh critic). Everything was clean and well stocked, loved the cornhole and horseshoes and all of the outdoor deck space! The pond was a bit of a dud and so buggy that the area around it was pretty much unusable, but that was okay. Wish the grill had worked, but otherwise loved the space, the closeness to Luray and outdoor activities, and the view from the house was stunning. Would recommend!

Clean and the best view to wake up to

Our favorite part was waking up and seeing the sun rise above the clouds. Absolutely gorgeous views and a clean home. The only unideal part is the drive up to mountain to get there, but the views are well worth it! Would love to stay there again.

Great stay, amazing views!

Property is located in an amazing location overlooking Luray. During our stay, we had a random issue with the microwave tripping a breaker, however, the property manager was incredibly friendly, quick to respond, and brought us a new microwave to use the following day. She also had someone come out and tidy up the hot tub for us. The outdoor activities (horse shoes and corn hole), and incredible view made us not want to leave the property during our stay!

Fantastic Views

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are unparalleled, and the house was exactly as described. We would stay here again. However, I would recommend that the owners upgrade their linens - the sheets on the King beds were too small, and there were no extra blankets for chilly nights. Our minivan made it up the hill, but we didn't realize that the unpaved road was about 2 miles long, so be warned. Definitely worth it for the views and solitude though!

Comfortable, Clean, Responsive Staff

Cleanliness. The kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas were very clean. I didn't notice any dust, bugs, or stains. The outside decks were clean. There were no loose screws or boards. The furniture was in good shape, no loose threads, or random hairs. The hot tub was crystal clear. Rooms. The room sizes and living spaces were good sized. We didn't feel cramped at all. Even the room with the double bunk beds was a comfortable size. View. The elevated home had great views of the mountains. The pictures on the website are TRUE and reflect the panoramic sights from the house. Concerns about the Drive Up the Hill. Admittedly, driving up the steep ascent to the home was a bit harrowing. However, we had no problems using our 2012 6-cylinder Toyota Sienna with 4 adults, 2 kids, and our luggage. Location. The home is 15 minutes away from Luray Caverns and 20 to 30 minutes away from Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. It is very convenient for a weekend getaway.
