Our second year staying at this Lakeview Cabin was enjoyable. The temperature outside was frigid but we stayed warm inside. The cabin is stocked with everything needed. The location is perfect for our family and we visited some local establishments...all within a mile. My grandson ice fished & my granddaughter ice skated on the lake. Communication & checkin/out were easy. We are already planning our 2026 trip. Thanks for renting out this cabin.
We had a beautiful weekend for us to gather from all directions to spend time together. There were 7 of us. It was quiet, the fall colors were beautiful and we had time to relax and unwind together. We look forward to coming again.
My sisters and cousins had the pleasure of spending the weekend at this cozy cabin. It was just as the pictures show- beautiful interior, comfortable beds and furniture, and every possible kitchen appliance, pan and dish we could ask for. Thank you for such a lovely stay!
We were in the area for my daughter’s wedding. My family was able to stay under one roof and make the most of our time together for this most memorable occasion.
The fall colors in the area to include the view of the lake from this property was absolutely breathtaking.
The accommodation was clean and had all of the supplies we needed. I would go back in a heartbeat and I believe my other family members would as well.
Beautiful weekend. Beautiful home. Plenty of room for all to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces. The host was very responsive to messages and was very accommodating.
The property is right on a beautiful lake. It must be beautiful in the summer, although it is lovely in the winter as well. House is clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Wonderful weekend.
Beautiful view of the lake! Great communication from
the owner. Everything we needed to prepare our family meals. Visited Leinenkugels Brewery and Dixons Autumn Harvest Winery. Very enjoyable weekend with family. Can't wait to come back!
This was a lovely getaway for me and my girlfriends. We sat on the patio overlooking the lake most of our stay! The house had a nice selection of kitchenware and condiments to use, the beds were comfy (and we each got our own!), the view is gorgeous, the common space is nice and open. It was so great we could use the kayaks, the lake was smooth and quiet. Cyndi provided me with her cell number in case I needed anything or had questions and she was very responsive during the booking. I will certainly stay here again!
We had a wonderful time at this lake home. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning! There are multiple different areas to gather as a group. Highly recommend!
This is a great house for a group, open layout, roomy, and comfortable. We were in the area to hike the Ice Age Trail so the location was convenient. The view from the house was unbeatable- the lake and the brilliant autumn colors of the hills. The owner was responsive to our questions and needs. We did think the no towel policy was odd but we worked around it.
This was a beautiful house on a beautiful lake. We had fantastic weather in mid-October. The only negative thing was that in the "Cabin Handbook" we were asked to limit our use of water - including not flushing the toilet when it's yellow and flushing only when it was brown. We weren't expecting that - it was very disconcerting to find that was the expectation.
Very nice. Pleasant, spacious, well-maintained. Info notebook was excellent.
A couple of suggestions, one trivial and the other important:
- Trivial: The wifi information in the booklet includes password but not network. We had to tried a couple of other networks by trial and error before hitting the right one.
- Important: Getting a new lockbox should be a high priority. I struggled with it for five minutes upon arrival before my wife took a crack at it and finally got it open. Upon checkout, neither of us had any luck getting it open to leave the key. Had the same thing happened upon arrival, it would have been a real problem for us (particularly as we do not own a cell phone).
Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful home directly on the lake. Our family fishes, so two well maintained docks were perfect. The pictures are exactly what the home is like. We had a great ten days to re-bond as a family. The outdoor space was lovely, just a little small for our family. We enjoyed every minute from gorgeous sunrise to quiet sunset.
We planned this as an family ice fishing party with two adult children and grandchildren. The weather was very cold but despite this we had so much fun due to the spaciousness of the house with two sitting areas and an open kitchen. The bedrooms were very spacious as well. Cyndi had condiments in the frige and cubboards. Paper supplies were plentiful. We had a beautiful view of the lake and were able to set up our fish houses right off the shore. The nearest store was about 3 miles away but we were prepared and there was enough condiments and needed supplies available for our use in the house.
We had six adults and four young children. We had so many fantastic photos oIf the lighted house shacks on the ice and indoor crafting. I plan ot be back next year for our yearly
My grandson did not want to leave.
This property is beautifully situated literally right on the edge of the lake. Each of the 4 bedrooms are a nice size and the kitchen had plenty of space for multiple cooks. :-) We enjoyed our coffee each morning as the sun came up across the lake and we kept an eye on our ice fishing pop-ups from the comfort of inside. Cyndi was an excellent & helpful host We are definitely considering another, longer stay this summer.
Beautiful place, has everything you might need. We lucked out and had weather in the 70's for the weekend which is amazing in Wisconsin! Thanks Cindy and family
We were looking for a place for our annual Girls getaway......we usually shop & dine out in a fun location, but with this years Covid, we opted to rent a lakehouse & spend our time eating, crafting, hiking & playing cards & of course giggling. The house did not disappoint----the sunrise view from the living room was spectacular. We were welcomed with a lovely note & 2 loaves of yummy bread-such a nice touch. Cyndi was so easy to work with & very prompt with replies. The house is very well maintained, almost better than the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would need for making our own meals. We did alot of crafting & it was so sweet that there was a larger folding table set up for us complete with a plastic tablecloth we could bundle our mess up for easy clean up. There was another table in the closet as well----this worked out beautifully. There were 5 of us, so plenty of beds/rooms for us to spread out. We loved the sectional in the living room to enjoy our morning coffee. The dining table was plenty roomy for some crazy games of dice & cards. The house was very clean , ceiling fans were nice in the rooms, making the whole house comfy. I would highly recommend the Ice Age Trail which is located just a few miles away for a lovely 5 mile loop hike--easy for everyone. Beautiful in the fall with the fall leaves, we had more snow on the ground than leaves, so it was really beautiful.
Beautiful. Clean. Cozy. girlfriends Weekend. Was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Returning ❤️❤
From our drive in til we walked in the front door. Absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean and spacious. Modern,...everything!!
Out door patio with fire pit. Dock. Beautifully groomed. We had 10 girlfriends staying and we were in heaven all weekend. Cyndi the owner was helpful with the stay. Great person to work with. I can’t think of anything negative to say.

My parents bought this cabin in 1983. We have been using it every summer since. It has since been rebuilt after our neighbors home exploded and destroyed our cabin (and 4 others!) so now we are able to enjoy it all year round.
Why they chose this property
This was rebuilt in 2018 so everything is practically brand new!
What makes this property unique
The cabin sits about 20 feet from the lake offering incredible views, inside and out!
