Great little cabin by the woods. Our two children LOVED the loft. The location is a great mid point between all the obvious stops one would make while visiting the hills. The cabin has everything you would want. Stop by a grocery store in Rapid prior to coming here if you plan on making your own meals which we did since they have every amenity to make your own food! There is a great little trail/creek not far from the cabin which we loved and seeing the sun come up over the mountains every morning was a plus as well. Will be staying again.
I absolutely LOVE this cabin. Perfect size, clean, comfortable. The front porch is so nice to sit out on. So peaceful! I'll definitely book this cabin again!
The cabin was very nice and the view of the Nemo is breathtaking. The owners took a lot of thought on how to make the stay here at their cabin wonderful. So many amenities that were just a special touch. And the information of all the important phone numbers and instructions for all appliances, TV, mini split and the restaurants in the area with the picture of the menus.
Very well done. Loved our stay and hoping to come back soon.
Our stay was only 2 nights but it was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be going back to South Dakota and staying in Wendy’s Ranger station again!
Great little cabin behind the Nemo Quest Ranch. Very quiet and secluded, but close enough. Owner’s were very accommodating and engaged. Would stay here again
Wendy is great to work with! Prompt, courteous and thoughtful. Wonderful cabin and area. Loved the front porch and used it everyday of our stay. The trails around Nemo are awesome!
This cute little cabin was perfect for our family of four for our short stay in the Black Hills. We loved exploring the area and playing games in the yard. The cabin was very well-supplied and the kids loved sleeping in the loft.
Perfect cabin for our family in one of our favorite black hills cities. This place has everything you need! Front porch was perfect for that early morning coffee drinking! We loved all the small travel size amenities in the bathroom. Excellent touch! The cabin stayed very cool the whole time (which we loved!), even during those very warm afternoon! If you’re looking for a perfect cabin in a perfect location, look no further. We will definitely be back!

Stay here for a great spot to catch all the touristy spots in the Black Hills! The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. We saw at least 10 deer close to the cabin on the morning we left.
Cabin was great and peaceful! Our family of 6 loved our stay. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchen items. Toiletries available if needed. Kids loved the loft. We were visited by a few deer each morning. Having washer/dryer on site was very convenient. Would stay again!
We are a retired couple that loves the Black Hills area and enjoy riding the trails.
The cabin was well stocked, Wi-Fi, a nice fire pit, peaceful surroundings, deer in the morning and evening, just to mention a few things.
We will definitely return to this wonderful cabin.
Out of the way, a beautiful country location. Wish our stay could have been longer, to take advantage of the horse riding nearby. Everything worked properly and the host was super helpful. Highly recommend!
Cute and well furnished house. Perfect for the 3 of us. Very quiet and peaceful. My husband and son loved to be able just to jump on the side by side and hit the trails.
Like previous years, this cabin does not disappoint.
One must look at before and after pictures to appreciate what hard work and creative remodeling has taken place. There are pictures in note book in cabin that are worth the look.
Location is incredible, but the view from front porch is 5 star. Watch the sun come up over the mountains…later watch it set into the mountains. But wait here comes the moon. Next time I come to this cabin I will check when the moon will be full and see if that schedule will work with my plans.
Thanks for another year Wendy!
This is a great place to stay. Wendy is awesome to work with and super responsive. The cabin has everything anyone one need and very clean. We loved the use of the washer and dryer as well. That is super helpful when riding all the local trails. Nemo is also very local to all the near attractions too. We were very pleased with everything. Thanks Wendy for letting us stay and how you accommodated both of our long ATV trailers. We really appreciated that!
The only hard thing about the property is finding it on Google. Google took us past the vrbo to the dead end of the forest road camp ground. Start looking at street addresses after the Nemo Restaurant/Branding Iron Inn. The property is set back off the road about 100 yds.
