Nice get away

If you want to get away from the world for a bit this is it. Walking/ suv trails behind the house are cool. Lots of creeks to play in. One shower and the fireplace wasn’t working but everything else was great.

Beautiful home

This beautiful home was spacious and clean. Everything we needed was there. The outdoor shelter area was perfect. We watched deer grazing on apples a few feet away. We sat next to a cozy fire in the firepit. If we return to this area, we will definitely stay here again!

Stayed with my grandma to visit some places around the county and clay county to the west. The cabin had everything we needed. We forgot shampoo but thankfully the cabin had that. As described and more. I recommend staying.

West Virginia week

This house lies in a beautiful, well- kept expanse of yard and orchard that were previously part of a sizable farm. The house was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was so silent at night ( well, except for an owl and the early-morning logging trucks) that we enjoyed sitting outside with glasses of wine and listening to nothing!

Peace and Quiet

My husband and I needed to get away from our hectic life for a few days and this property was just right. Clean, organized, comfortable king sized bed, beautiful, quiet outdoor spaces, well stocked with everything we needed. The host communication was quick and informative. Only negative for me was no recliners to put my feet up in the living room but I pulled up a chair to put them on so I was fine. Bonus there was a meteor shower and we saw several shooting stars because it was away from city lights!

Relax Weekend

We had a wonderful time. I truly could not believe how picture perfect it was. I am a caterer and practiced recipes for my next event, your kitchen was fully stocked! Thanks for having cinnamon for our French toast! My nephew loved going bearfoot in the crick. We plan to come back because that front yard is perfect for kickball.

Wedding weekend

My son was married at Pig Hill Farm and Vineyard. This was a close place to stay and easily accessible to the venue. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we all said we want to come back when we aren't involved in a wedding and can really enjoy the entire property.

Location was great!

The property is very private, which we love. The house itself is supplied with most anything you would need. From seasonings to bath soap to bug spray. Very clean & comfortable. The location is just about perfect if you want to hit the trout streams & rivers. Everyplace we wanted to go was within an hour from the house. We will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful, stress-free retreat.

Our group of four adults really enjoyed our stay and used the property as a base for trips to area state and national parks. Home had everything we could need; lots of indoor and outdoor space; and is very well maintained. Everything worked perfectly and was FULLY equipped for guests. Trails behind the home were overgrown this time of year so we skipped those and we had a few insect visitors. Deer made regular appearances in the yard to munch on fallen apples. Would highly recommend and stay again.

2nd Stay Here ❤️

Another beautiful vacation at the farm. Absolutely loved every minute. The hostess didn’t know what time we were arriving so she left some lights on, including the pavilion that meant a lot to us. It’s a little things it’s always the little things that make the biggest difference. Everything is immaculate. The weather was perfect. Could’ve been a better week.

Peaceful!

Our family was looking for a place to get away from it all, and this was it! The whole place is very well maintained, and everything needed for the convenience of the guests is there. We really appreciated that there were chairs everywhere inside and out to sit and relax. We loved the pavilion and ate our meals there when the weather allowed. Our children really enjoyed the trails through the woods. Just note they are 4-wheeler trails and the weeds grow up some. The river was too low to kayak (I guess that is a spring activity), but we did go to Big Ditch lake one evening. This was just what we needed, and we went home really refreshed!

May stay again

I have stayed at rental properties for many years to go on family vacations. This is by far the best property I've ever stayed in. The communication with the host was quick. When we arrived to the property, it was clean and inviting. This home literally felt like a home I was renting. I was impressed with the selection of cookware, utensils, etc. The layout of the home was perfect. There are grills and a covered patio with a picnic table we ate at several nights. I was very impressed with the pictures before I rented. But the pictures don't do the property any justice. I would definitely stay here again. Next time we would hike the trails on the property but this time we hiked at many of the local parks.

Peaceful retreat

Clean, cozy, out of the way, yet a short drive to Cowen and Addison (Webster Springs). We enjoyed our stay. The property is large and has trails and river access. There were plenty of towels, utensils, and cooking gear. The gas fireplace is nice and heats the common area quickly. There were many birds in the woods near the house. Nearby, Lover's Lane Boardwalk is a nice walk along the bank of the Elk River.
