The district

Deshaies is a very quiet town, the apartment very close to the magnificent Grande Anse beach (5 minutes on foot), one of the most beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe. Deshaies is a very green place, we are between sea and mountains. There are many restaurants by the beach and within walking distance. There are diving sites as well as the botanical garden 10 minutes by car. In the surroundings, possibilities for snorkelling (fins + snorkel), paddle, kayak and other water sports (big game fishing, boat trips ...).

Transport

In general, it is difficult to get around Guadeloupe without a vehicle if you want to visit.
However, there is still a bus network.
The beach is very easily accessible on foot (3min) and there is a self-service station on the way where you can do some shopping.
You have a parking lot.
