Apartment built for weather, sound protection, Sleeping.

This lovely apartment offers you a quiet and peaceful stay while you vacation in the beautiful City of Chattanooga. It is within walking distance of the incline going up Lookout Mountain. The home offers a great view of the Mountain from its point to several miles South into Georgia.All the tourist attractions around Lookout and Downtown are just a few minutes away. Owners live above and are residents and offer 1 bedroom with 1 bath.NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE. . New home built in the Arts and Crafts style,with some furniture in that style. Home is built with ICFs (insulated concrete forms). Living arrangements are on the lower level ( first floor) . Additional areas of interest include, incline, many walking trails around the mountain and in the National Park at Chickamauga (Civil War Battlefield), Ruby Falls ,Incline, Rock City, and the Historical village of St. Elmo. Main bedroom has a queen bed and front reading room has a couch which pulls out and makes a single bed. Parking available on main road or in Driveway. Kitchen with seating for three, full bath room with shower. Deck, Patio, Outside Fireplace ,grill, ev charger, Hot Tub, Sauna, may be shared if other apartment is rented at same time. Cute and cozy

We lucked out on finding this gem. The owner met us when we checked in, was super nice and kind. Even got a visit by a chunky black kitty one evening. There’s an option to park in front of the house, but all of the spots were taken so we used the back drive way. It’s steep and has a slight curve to it, so be careful when backing out of it. Our apartment was cozy and was perfect for the weekend. The location is not too far from Rock City, Ruby Falls, and a little business area with a couple restaurants and stores. When we come back to the area, we plan to try to stay here again.

Great experience!

This was a perfect place for a quick visit to Chattanooga! The neighborhood is super cute and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great weekend stay!

Cut up and dirty

NO WINDOWS!!Terribly cut up floor plan. Tv from bed only. No room to sit on couch bc of plants everywhere. 3 cookware all dirty. Stove filthy. A full 2 ft step up to bathroom. Owner said if I left bad review he’d bad review me back?? Childish and normally I’d let it go and not review but he was being a punk. Im 66 years old and this place was a dive!

Quaint and convenient

If you’re wanting a fancy place to spend your time this isn’t it, but if you’re interested in an affordable, conveniently located place to sleep you’ll be happy with this small apartment. It was near great attractions and walking distance to some excellent restaurants.

Great location

Allen was a great host and the location was perfect for our visit to Lookout Mountain and to Chattanooga. We loved being able to walk to meet friends at 1885 for dinner and to go to the Incline Railway.

Allen was really friendly at check in. The rental is very simple with all the basic amenities available. We felt comfortable and secluded in a shaded garden paradise.

Great place to stay for a few days

My daughter and I came to Chattanooga for a few days for a girl scout summer trip. This place was close to everything we had planned to do that weekend. My daughter loved the hot tub and meeting the cat that lives here, he was very sweet. The owner was nice and check in was easy.

Basement Garage

Dark rooms with isuficcent lightning. No ventilation, smelling, no windows in the entire apartment. Only half door in the front room had a window. Basement concrete flooring.No furnace, only electric space heater.Furniture,linen, and kitchen ware worn out. Frying pan not usable (Teflon damaged and scratched).Outdoor furniture, fire place, BBQ not usable and dirty.The whole backyard was not prepared for guests.Very disappointed.

Amazing View

This place is all about the outside! The view and patio are perfect!! We really just needed a place to sleep with somewhere to wind down at the end of the night, this property fit the bill perfectly!

Chattanooga Get Away

The property was conveniently located for exploring the sites Chattanooga has to offer! Our host Allen was very friendly and gave us some insights into food, walking and other activities. The apartment was good for 2 people and it included a separate kitchen and bathroom along with access to a nice hot tub. We were out and about for most of our time here, so didn’t spend too much time just hanging out. There was another unit adjacent to ours and there was a short time when conversations could clearly be heard thru the wall. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Cute little Mountain View gem!

Let me first say we absolutely enjoyed our stay here! It’s a very cute property and the patio with the romantic lights and all the plants (crazy plant lady here!) view of the mountain and the hot tub were great! It is a multi-unit property which we did not know, with other people staying and sharing the amenities but that wasn’t a huge deal and maybe we missed it in the listing. Allen was great, he was very friendly and gave us some tips on where to go in the city and had a bottle of wine for us in the fridge, we really enjoyed that when relaxing in the hot tub. The apartment itself could use some updating and smelled like a cat lives there but we got some candles and it was fine. Overall a great stay, close to all the things we wanted to do (about 5 mins from Ruby Falls and Rock City and 10 to downtown night life). Can’t say we will be back to Chattanooga but this area is so cute and has so much character and we enjoyed the stay and Allen’s hospitality!

Mountain View was exceptional

The Mountain View property in Chattanooga is a very nice location. If you like a quiet, peaceful setting you will enjoy this property. It was clean and quiet and the large outdoor patio was a great place to enjoy the view while sipping a glass of wine. The owner of the property was a wonderful host.

Peaceful Space

Allen was ready to meet us when we got there and gave us great info about the area and places to visit! The courtyard is beautiful with plants and flowers - very peaceful surroundings. Everything we needed was provided. We had a wonderful stay and would come back!
