About this property

Beautiful view of the sound from great room and master bedroom! Very well equipped home with many extras!
Charming 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home with awesome sunset views! 4 Decks! One off the great room and the other 3 decks off the bedrooms and kitchen.
Our back yard is completely fenced in. With gate on ground level and a gate off the first level deck.
With back steps leading to the back yard.

This home has a well equipped kitchen (microwave, refrigerator w/ automatic ice maker, and filtered water, blender, coffeemaker, kurig, dishwasher & more). The family room has a 50" smart TV with Hi Definition and DVD player with lots of dvds to choose from.

Living room has gas fireplace with cathedral ceiling and open floorplan to kitchen. There is sliding glass doors to front deck equipped with deck furniture to view the amazing sunsets every evening. Master bathroom is spacious and has a jacuzzi tub to relax in after a long day at the beach.
We have wireless high speed internet. And For your convenience there are a lot of extras, including: (7) bikes, boogie-boards, coolers, fishing rods, bar-b-que grill and gas grill etc. The house is located near milepost 13 within walking distance to the public beach access, Jockeys Ridge State Park. And a short ride to ocean and many fine restaurants and shopping.

The front and back decks are gated. ( for children and pets safety.) Back deck can access fenced in back yard.(easy to let dog out).
And the back yard is fenced and gated.
WE ALSO HAVE WIRELESS INTERNET.
We have linen service for an additional $85 wk.

Well-appointed house near Jockeys Ridge

We had a wonderful stay, all three generations of us plus our golden retriever. The house was very comfortable for the six of us plus the dog, and well-appointed with dishes, cookware, beach equipment, and enough bicycles for us all! The location near Jockey’s Ridge and across the island from Cottage Row was great, and the sunsets were spectacular.

Great stay!!

The property was very clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Home had a nice backyard for the dogs. However if you have a sneaky small escape artist dog be careful because the wire of the fence is not tacked down and my little guy tried to get under it. He was on a lead the rest of the trip! Great location right in the sound. Very peaceful. Would stay again!

Happy Holidays at the OBX

Donna and Bill did it again- wonderful hosts with the most! They even had lights and a tree this year!! Their home is so well stocked for anything and everything you need - we appreciated how we didn't have to worry about bringing anything extra- when we were already bringing our dog and a toddler! Family get away

My niece had just gotten married and I wanted to taken her and her new husband along with a few other family members away for a few days as they didn’t have money for any type of honeymoon. The house was amazing and in a great location and was perfect for our little get away. Communication with property owners was great as well. I highly recommend this beach house!!

Easy close beach assess. Watch gorgeous sunsets over the sound from one of the two front decks. Very comfortable accommodations with thoughtful, kind hosts.

Perfect Nags Head Get Away!

We were very happy with this rental! The owners were fabulous to work with, they responded immediately with any questions. The property was clean, comfortable and had EVERYTHING we needed for a beach vacation! The house is very child friendly , they have gates, high chairs , strollers , pack n play, wagons and much more. We purposely wanted to rent in walking distance to Jockey Beach on the sound side to ensure our young children could enjoy the water if the Atlantic side water was too rough. We lucked out and got to enjoy both! We will be back!

Magnificently relaxing views

We so enjoyed this home and the wonderful views from the decks. All the comforts of home, beds were super comfy, the neighborhood quiet and the hosts were outstanding. We had constant and positive communication before, during and after our stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

The 1st thing I noticed was the fresh smell. No pets smells or stains!! Everything you need is in the house, the furniture is comfy and the view is spectacular especially at sundown. Last but not least the back yard was fenced for our furry baby!! A+++++

Happy Holidays at the OBX

We had a wonderful stay at Bill and Donna's - the house was well set-up to host a family - with ALL the essentials and more. Bill was incredibly quick to respond to messages. We got so lucky with so many beautiful days to enjoy sunsets on the balcony. You really don't need to bring much- they have 2 crock pots, a keurig and coffee pot, toaster, kettle- EVERYTHING you could need for cooking. Comfy beds and furniture. Thanks Bill and Donna for a lovely place to celebrate Christmas with our family!

They Thought of Everything!

The kitchen was completely stocked for any cooking needs. Recommend checking in before heading to the grocery, as previous guests left some basics. The beds & furniture were very comfortable. Recommend purchasing the linen service for making things easy. Towels were plentiful & lots of extra blankets available, if desired. The owners storage closet is a treasure trove of necessary beach items--chairs, umbrella, a canopy tent, bicycles of every size- even one with training wheels! We enjoyed the beautiful view of the sound & spent a lot of time on one of the many decks. Very quiet street great for walking or short bike rides. There is a back entrance to Jockeys Ridge State Park about a mile.from the house, where you will.find parking for hiking OR access.to a very nice beach area- great for littles who aren't comfortable with the rougher surf on the coastal side. This was a surprise, and a great discovery! Beach access is easy- just a short drive across the street to public access parking. The house is convenient to everything, really! We had a glitch with the AC toward the end of the week. Bill & Donna were very responsive & acted quickly to resolve the issue. Overall, an excellent stay in a beautifully kept & very comfortable home. We would highly recommend this property!

Quiet haven right on the sound

We brought our kayaks and enjoyed a peaceful morning paddling on the sound, launching from nearby Jockey's Ridge. Lots of public beach access options nearby. Bill and Donna were amazing hosts and put a lot of thought and care into making sure their guests have a great time in OBX.

Excellent accommodation our family and dog

Everything about this house and its location was perfect for us. Very centrally located with beautiful views of the sound, the house is even more impressive than the pictures suggest. We had everything we needed, plenty of space, and a great backyard for our dog. Would definitely consider returning in the future. The owners were helpful and communicative at every stage. Beautiful sound-side Vacation

The house was perfect for our yearly family beach vacation! Location was within walking distance to the sound beach entrance, super short drive to the ocean and centrally located to the shops and restaurants! The house was in perfect condition and the owners were super friendly and wonderful to work with! Couldn’t have asked for a better home to spend our vacation!

Perfect Vaca home beautiful view

Clean, comfortable,with beautiful view of sound. Easy walk to Jockey ridge sound access which we loved!. Quick drive to multiple ocean access some w shower & porta potty! House is actually even more amazing in person. Lots of pillows and blankets, lots of extras in kitchen. The gated decks& large yard are amazing especially w our pooch! Owners checked on us& go extra mile!
