Great property but some fyi's

We had a great stay but a few things to note... Listing showed 1 king bed but there are only 2 queen beds. Also listing said there was a cappuccino machine but there is just a drip coffee maker. Property is located about a 5 minute walk to the beach/lake. Also property was a bit short on bathroom towels and we found all the kitchen towels in the dryer that we didnt find until our 3rd night which was unfortunate. Otherwise the house is well stocked with dishes, and has a nice deck but outside seating was setup for only 4 and we had 10 staying there so trying to do a family style dinner didnt work well but plenty of space elsewhere. Also be aware there is no A/C, most mountains homes dont have A/C so not a suprise but the home can be hot at night. Overall it was a great place to stay and all the amenities you really need and even came with some lake floaties and beach toys which was nice to have available. We would stay there again!

Not worth the money

Spacious house but badly needs to be updated and treated as a rental with the amenities that you expect these days. The kitchen is well stocked but that's about it ... the house has many conveniences but lacks many basics and oversights - a single dish towel for the kitchen - for four days! Mattresses are worn out - springs etc, Beds come with a set of sheets and a single cheap pillow per person and a summer comforter - NO blankets in the house ( agent suggests bringing your extra blankets due to COVID restrictions ..please that old excuse is so worn out. ) So you must provide your own blankets and I'd highly recommend bringing your own pillows .....really ?? You are provided a minimal set of towels and hand towels ( one per ) so if you are there for more than 3 days I guess they expect you to start doing laundry .. all need to be replaced - old worn, and threadbare... The Game room is "great" but downstairs behind the garage which is the only way to enter the space so no connection to the living spaces - not obvious in the property description. The owner has many items and closets with belongings that aren't locked, actually wide open as in the master bedroom as the doors are broken and cannot be closed, with many personal items with big DO NOT TOUCH signs .. almost feels like the owner left the property in the morning before you arrive and is returning the day you leave... Nice having a wood-burning fireplace and plenty of wood but is it too much to expect a means to light the fire, especially on your first night there?? no kindling, no matches, no axe to make kindling etc ... If you are looking for a place to party and do not really care it may be the place for you but if you are looking for a nice comfortable, well-stocked place that is worth the $388 a night (before the taxes and service fees) look elsewhere. A few thousand dollars invested in simple upgrades would change this property completely ... a shame as it has/had potential.

Family Getaway

While it was a bit weird that you had to go to a property manager to get the keys instead of going right to the property; it was very close (less than 2 minutes) and they were very helpful in letting us know about things to do that we didn’t know about. They were very helpful and nice. The property itself was amazing. As you walk in there is a nice spot to take shoes off put swim gear or anything that you’ll be taking in and out often. To the right is a door to the garage and through another door you get to the pool table room with a wet bar and a tv with steaming capabilities, a fireplace, bathroom, and four reclining lounge chairs. If you enter the house and go straight up the stairs there is the main floor with a nice sized kitchen. Oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster and lots of pots, pans, and utensils. Through the kitchen there is a bathroom to the left and a washer and dryer. To the left of the kitchen is a main bedroom with a queen and a bathroom. Bedding is included and was comfortable. To the right is the living room with a wood burning stove (plenty of wood near the garage) several couches and a tv. There is another set of stairs leading up to the third floor where there are two more bedrooms, a futon in the loft area, and a bathroom. Outside on the deck is a very nice charcoal grill with an accompanying stand/table attached. Need to bring your own charcoal. Overall the place was a great retreat. I would book again for sure. It’s quiet, close to the lake/beach and lots of space. Definitely worth checking out.

Lovely cabin with lots of space!

The cabin was plenty of space with lots of toys for the kids to keep them preoccupied when we weren't playing in the snow. Great things for adults too, like the movie room/pool room. Lots of amenities and about a 30 minute drive to the snow park. The only thing was checking in is and getting the keys was at a separate location and a little more cumbersome than other rental properties where you can just self check in. Just a friendly suggestion to the renters: include a link to a dropped pin on Google maps to find your exact location since the address does not lead you to the right place.

Very nice cabin

Great experience! The driveway is a bit steep, but I had my husband park the car for me. Very spacious. We would stay here again.

Wonderful house within a walking distance to the beach

Many thanks to the owner of this wonderful house for letting us enjoy its comfort, spaciousness and perfect location! Also we appreciate responsiveness and great upkeep provided by the rental agency. The house is designed and tastefully furnished with comfort in mind. It is full of light and serves the purpose as a family retreat, encouraging relaxation and bonding. The kitchen is stocked with utensils and cookware, beds are comfortable and all appliances, even if not the most recent models, functioned well. There is a variety of board games and even a pool table, all of which we enjoyed. The house was cleaned well. The agency provided us with several sets of clean, well-made sheets and towels. The only downside was the refrigerator could have been cleaned more thoroughly. It is located within a walking distance to the beach, which is obviously another big plus for a summer vacation. Thank you again. Looking forward to spending another few days at this special retreat in the future.

We like the addition of linens this year!

We like the addition of linens this year! Beds are not very comfortable, unfortunately. Would like to see the kitchen a little more organized, kitchen pots and pans are mismatched and stored in unorganized fashion. Unit is clean and we like the rec room, tho the fireplace was not working right.
