The good. The condo is clean and well maintained. The cost is very reasonable. It's with in walking distance to Mt Alyeska day lodge, the Sitzmark Bar, and Jack Sprat restaurant.The Bad. The key code to unlock the door is ne to complex.

Overall Would Recommend

Found this place cozy and safe (single female). It was convenient being so close to the chairlifts. Only thing I’d say to watch out for it the ceiling is thin, so I frequently heard the people above me. I’m not a light sleeper, so this wasn’t an issue for me. Wouls still recommend.

Great location and comfortable stay!

The location of this condo can't be beat. Everything was very easy. The instructions were clear, plenty of parking spaces, everything was super clean! Our only disappointment was you can hear every single step the people upstairs take - it's very loud. However, we still enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

This is a great place for a solo or couples trip to Alyeska and Girdwood. Quiet, walking distance to chair and some restaurants. No frills, all the essentials. Just a quiet place to relax after a day on the hill. I would ask to stay here next time.

Comfortable classic ski condo

This condo is not fancy, but classic and comfortable. The decor is a bit dated with a lot of ski charm. It has fully stocked kitchen for easy cooking and the place is clean. Easy parking and very close to lifts and a great bakery. (3 minute walk). Only downside was some tromping noise from the unit above early in the morning. Game room, sauna are fun and laundry is easy.

Enjoyable stay in Girdwood

The place was neat and clean. I am glad the pictures showed the stairs to climb to access the condo, so we knew what we were renting. Girdwood is on the side of a mountain, so be prepared! If steep hills and stairs are a problem for you, look elsewhere. The property was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed for a short break from a very busy summer. The scenery is beautiful, and my husband and I would go again.

Great Condo with places to explore.

Great place to stay with easy access to miles of trails to walk or hike. When leaving the condo you can go uphill and get in a great hike on the slopes of Alyeska, or go downhill and get in an easy walk while exploring Girdwood. Easy access and beautiful scenery where you can walk or hike at whatever intensity you want.

Excellent property. Poor check in

The room was spotless, comfortable, great location to the slopes, had extra amenities and the kitchen had everything we needed. The back Rec room was fantastic extra space for a family birthday party. The only bad part was actually getting into the property. The lock box combinations did not work. With assistance ober the phone, we finally got the key which would not even go into the door lock. We ended up leaving the door open even when we were not there. I’d still recommend this property. They just need to get the entry issues solved and maybe have someone on or near the property that could come and assist getting in

Great location ... and very clean

This property is in one of the original Alyeska Resort buildings from the late 70's I believe....it was really clean and has walk up access to lift, once you purchase your pass at daylodge or hotel. Also walking distance to Bake shop and Jack spraat. There is a shuttle available to take you to local grocery store.. too However, do not leave anything behind.. there is a ridiculous fee and procedure to retrieve it even if you live in Anchorage

Aleyska the noisy Condo

This was our first trip to ski here in Alaska and was so looking forward to it. Also our first time renting with VRBO. The skiing was great but our condo was not. For 4 days and nights we got no rest and very little sleep this is a bottom floor in an old condo and you can hear EVERYTHING it is as a constant heard of elephants above. I’m so tired. I emailed the host before we booked and asked many questions and specifically about the noise as there was an old review that stated the same. There reply is there is no complaints. Well if you want rest and sleep do not stay here. Best to all.

Very nice apartment!
