You and your special someone have found the perfect getaway cabin! (wait..this cabin is cozy enough for a honeymoon, but also has a queen bedroom for the kids.) Play in your private heated indoor pool while watching a move or relax in front of the fire in your great room. Shoot a game of pool in the game room and enjoy free WIFI and cable TV.

*** This cabin is located Black Bear Ridge in Wears Valley and is an easy drive to stoplight #3 in Pigeon Forge and to the bypass to the National Park - quiet, yet and excellent location.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking my be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are not pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Great Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the cabin but did feel it was geared toward families with children. All the alarms (especially the pool alarm) was quite a nuisance for our adult crew. The beds were not comfortable at all either. It was clean and beautiful scenery.

6 nights in Tennessee's log cabin retreat all to ourselves

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Otter Springs was perfect for the 4 of us. We explored Gatlinburg,Pigeon Forge, and the Smoky National Park. We went to Dolly's Stampede Dinner on our first night. (Highly recommend) It was a great show & fantastic food. We visited Titanic, Alcatraz, Ripleys Aquarium, and Ankeesta Night Show. We ate at Jason Aldeans restaurant it has a small menu yet delicious. Shopped in Gatlinburg as well as Pigeon Forge 's Ariat. Lots to do and our cabin was it's own activity. Hot tub in the morning and night and we loved watching movies in the theater pool room!! Perfect place to unwind and relax. You have neighbors but we barely saw anyone. Reaching out to management was super easy when we had a question. The house was clean and we ate out some and cooked some. Perfect blend of home yet vacation! Use bundles online to save money on attractions. The mountain coasters are everywhere and worth at least trying! We did Alpine and the Goat because they were sooo close to our cabin. If you want a mix of a tourists location yet you want to stay our of the crowd this would be your spot.

Otter springs weekend

But for the money we spent the things inside was in poor condition!! The bed downstairs was bad. It was sloped down and was hard to sleep on. It was like sleeping in a hole. The grill outside didn’t work at all. The pool area smelled really bad. Like sewer or trash. Outside at the hot tub should have had some non slip mats. Very slippery on the concrete dew to mildew build up. And the privacy curtain was ripped to shreds. We did enjoy our time with our family there. But the quality did not match the quantity.

Our only concern was the nails that were coming up on the 3 outside decks in the back. Screws should have been used. At least a dozen nails were lifted causing great danger to children and adults feet if stepped on. We loved the views! Stunning. Can’t wait to stay again!!

LOVE THIS CABIN

Pool and hot tub were fantastic and it's so close to pigeon forge that you are just minutes away from everything. The access to the neighborhood was super easy from the main road and the neighborhood felt super safe. This house met all of our requirements; it had a well equip kitchen for everything we needed and was super clean. The living room furniture and master bed were comfortable. We really were able to spend good family time enjoying the pool table, hot tub and movies in the pool. I wish they had a cable box connected to the projector screen. We assumed it would have it and didn't bring blue ray movies. We ended up making a Walmart trip and bought a cable to connect our laptop so we could stream our movie apps. Once we got that figured out it was great. The only other negative was the downstairs bedroom with the door was not as comfortable. The mattress had a dip in the middle and there was a mattress protector or something that was really loud when you turned over in bed. Overall, our family really enjoyed this cabin and would stay in the exact same one next time we go back. I would highly reccomend!

Everything was clean and we had a starter supply of essentials! The kids loved the pool and theater center! We did have to call maintenance out for the hot tub upon arrival, but they sent someone out quickly to get it fixed! The checkin and checkout process and maintenance issue was very easy with only a text! We would definitely book again!

Family getaway

Everything was perfect. From booking to us departing. Quick responses and very friendly. Cabin was very spacious. The pool was a big hit for us. My little one absolutely loved it. We have stayed at many cabins over the years. And this cabin has been the best one hands down. Will definitely rebook.

Nice property. Listing very accurate with pics vs. expectations. Toilet arm broken upon arrival but after phone call the maintenance team came and fixed it within the hour. The only negative comment would be that the gas grill appeared to have had someone previously use it with charcoal inside. It was not usable. I reported but didnt ask for anyone to come fix it during our stay. We would stay here again! We had a great time!

A Great Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Stay was great. The Cabin was clean and close to all our outings. A few points to make that I wish I knew: There is one road to the cabin that is VERY windy and feels dangerous for those not used to driving these types of conditions. We figured out when you leave the complex, always turn left at the bottom of the driveway and let GPS reroute you. It's a much safer road then turning right and does not take you out of the way but only a minute or so. Bring binoculars for the mountain view to search for bears (wish I had mine). Also, although not altering my rating at all, the mattress on the walk-in level needs to be flipped because is sags in the middle a bit. AND PLEASE add a deadbolt lock to the front door! I know the property is under 24-hour surveillance, but this would make it feel safer as anyone that knows the code can enter at any time. I put a chair in front, but once my family is sleeping, I would have felt much better with an additional lock that you can only open from inside. All in all a great stay! Just some points forward.

Two Star Stay at Four Star Prices

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will give it 3/5 stars just for the indoor pool and entertainment area that my 7 year old loved but for the priced paid I would expect the place to have been cleaned better as there were cobwebs and dirt that had obviously been there for weeks if not months. Seems like they could also spend a dollar or two on more than single ply toilet paper and towels that are of better quality than a Days Inn. Your view from the decks is of other cabins for the most part so the 15 minute drive to anywhere was not worth it since you still had neighbors all around you. Also note, while the check in documents claim there is a noise ordinance for the area there is not. Your close neighbors can party all night long if they want so not very family friendly.

Great time for whole family!

It was close to Pigeon Forge and an easy drive up the mountain to reach. It was spacious and the kitchen was equipped with basic pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. Our kids were very surprised to be staying in a cabin and having a hot tub and indoor pool was awesome! They also really enjoyed the pool table. I wish there was another bed in the loft area. There was enough room for bunk beds or a second bed so my kids wouldn’t have had to share a bed. The house only had one queen and one king bed for our family of four. There were also no dressers in the cabin, so we had to keep our clothes in the suitcase. We weren’t able to check in until almost 5:30, two and a half hours past check in time. The management company checked in by text multiple times during our stay.
