Mrs. Robbie and Mr. Bryan were phenomenal host! This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and they definitely showed us southern hospitality. Breakfast was off the charts both mornings we were there. We love the outdoors and being on the bayou so this was right up our alley! We will definitely be booking again.
I picked this location for a few reasons. 1, it was close to the places I wanted to go for my birthday. 2, the safety factor of the owners being next door in case I needed anything. 3, they really try to make you feel special and the money worth spending. They told me where to get food and made me breakfast the next morning 10/10
It was a great place in a quiet neighborhood. Host made the best scones we have ever eaten. House and host are wonderful people. Couldn’t have been better.

Booking
My very first booking with Vrbo, mix up with the advertising on web owner claimed the site was copied “scammed” after much confusion only some of my money was refunded. After trying to get a final understanding of the mix up the owner told me to not call her again and hung up on me. The owners seemed very friendly at the time, but if you call and question her action she gets very bitter and rude.
I can't say enough about this property and the owners. The property was beautiful, in the middle of Breaux Bridge near restaurants and shopping, but secluded at the dead end of a street. The owners will try to accommodate your every desire. If you are going for a special occasion, let them know and they may have ideas on how to make it even more special for you. There is definitely a return visit in my future.
We had the best time! Bryan took excellent care of us! Great food, conversation, pool was wonderful! Bed was perfect, all the towels you needed. Ample space in bedroom and bathroom.
The grounds were relaxing. Many outdoor birds. Great for nature lovers!
Thank you again!!!!
The setting is very relaxing

This property looks as described if not better in person. The property owners were very friendly and knowledgable about the area. The accommodations very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the patio poolside looking at the bayou. The blueberry biscuits & bacon for breakfast were outstanding. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
Brian & Robbie were so hospitable , highly recommend.
Mrs Robbie and her husband Brian were great hostess. Everything I ask for they did in a timely manner. Even last minute things. They cooked a fabulous breakfast. The room was beautiful. Cypress wood and beautiful pictures. Large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and steam shower. I would recommend staying at the Cajun side house.
Robbie and her husband are wonderful hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed and provided delicious breakfasts.
Their place is top notch and is surrounded by a beautiful landscape right on Bayou Teche.
Robbie and Brian have created a Bed and Breakfast that is in a class of its own. From the homemade ice cream to the beautifully decorated rooms, lovely grounds and delicious breakfast, they thought of everything. Not to mention what gracious hosts they are! Our one night stay was wonderful....just not long enough.
I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful property or the hosts. We really had the best stay. The bed was comfy, the room was just right for our family of three, and we had a great afternoon in the pool. Robbie and her husband are excellent hosts. We will definitely return if we are in the area.

Rental not as advertised. NOT RECOMMENDED!
I was in town visiting my family and I booked this VRBO so that I could have a place where I could visit them.
The good: The location was beautiful—pool area overlooking Bayou Teche. Landscaping was beautifully done. Room was nicely decorated with minimal clutter.
The bad:
The rental was not what I had expected—it was listed as “Side House”, but it was actually just a bedroom with a small hallway that was separated from the owners’ living space by a sliding barn-style door. Although there were no other guests on the property, there was little privacy—I could hear host talking and their TV, not to mention the dogs barking, while in the bedroom itself. The host frequently appeared poolside-patio area with us, watering down the cement or blowing leaves with the blower while my mom and kids were trying to visit.
The ugly:
I tried to talk to the host about the rental maybe just not being the right fit for my needs, possibly chalk it up to miscommunication, and that’s when she became irate. It was very, very uncomfortable and I felt vulnerable with my two young kids there. I left immediately, after only two nights. Host made no attempt to work anything out and I was charged for the entire 6 nights that I booked. It should be noted that there were changes to the rental description regarding “events” shortly after or possibly even during my reservation.
I had been looking forward to visiting with my family that we have not been able to see for the last 2 years and this almost ruined our whole trip.
Two weeks after my stay, the owner accused me of a taking a bag from the rental. I have no idea what she is talking about. Do not stay here!
Robbie is hands down the best host! She took care of us like we were family, from the moment we arrived until we headed home! We will definitely be back!
My husband & I stayed for a romantic getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The room was so comfy with interesting furniture. The hosts are friendly & enjoyable to chat with & served up the most delicious breakfast. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with a bayou view & watching nature as well as taking a dip in the pool. I can’t recommend this place more.
Excellent! Above and beyond what we expected. Thank you Robbie for all the time and effort that you put into making this such a wonderful, sweet, experience.
This place has it all! Beautiful outdoor scenery and immaculate grounds! Our room was percent. Our hosts were awesome and accommodating. We will definitely be visiting again!
This is was the most relaxing little gem! The owners are amazing and so kind! The view of the water was beautiful.
