We stayed in the Sunflower Cabin. It was clean, with everything we needed for a very relaxing weekend. There was plenty of space for our family of five. The lake was very low, but that wasn't anyone's fault and we enjoyed ourselves anyway. The kids found lots of clam shells and thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks. Thank you so much for the wonderful weekend!
This was a great place to stay. Loved it! It was quiet and clean. The bed and Futon were comfortable. Also had paddle boats and kayaks free to use. The owner was nice and friendly. Definitely look forward to coming back.
Jeff was a big help when we got things started. Anytime I called and had a question he was ready to answer and be as helpful as possible. The weather was not great not their fault. Overall fantastic experience will probably go again.
The cabin was perfect! Clean, comfortable and so cute!
The back of the cabin was a like a private little nature preserve that the dogs loved to explore-and the back door near the bed made early morning puppy potty a breeze!
Jeff was an amazing host, easy check in/check out and on hand should any need arise.
The lake is wonderful, so relaxing! And its always nice to find somewhere that welcomes my pups!!
Will be back for sure!
We were able to see the sunrise, sunset and moon and stars. The Sunflower cabin was very cozy, BBQ'd outside and slept great indoors. Went fishing, kayaking, paddle boating. Very pet friendly for my dogs. We can't wait to go back.
This little cabin was perfect. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed for our stay (you will need to bring shower hygiene items). We used the crockpot while we were out swimming. The owners supply 2 paddleboats and 3 kayaks. We had a blast with the kayaks, never done that before and a little out of my comfort zone but it was so much fun we couldn't stay off of them. The little swimming area was very well stocked with life vests and it had buoys weighted down to tie off to so you could just lay and float to your hearts content. Very relaxing. No one else was there so it was quiet and no crowds. We had a lot of fun.
The only thing I would say about the Sunflower Cabin where we stayed is that it doesn't sleep 5 like it advertises,,,there is a little pull out love seat, but it was so uncomfortable we didn't use it......but, the futon slept 2 very comfortably, and depending on how close you are to the people with you ,,, you could sleep 3 in the super comfy king sized bed.
Really nice cabin and the owners were very nice. They also offer tons of DVDs and games to play ,,,and the fire pit looked nice too, although we did not use that....the place is so quiet and peaceful. Very amazing stay for a very good price.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower Cabin! Perfect location for boating, cruising up the river and dinner with family! Lets not forget the cool AC! lol
Came here for bf’s 40th birthday with our two dogs. We had an amazing time and loved everything about the cabin and property. Jeff was friendly and a great host! We got plenty of time by the water, enjoyed fishing and bbq’ing during our stay. Cabin was clean, offer griddle which was perfect for breakfast. Brought our air fryer which was a fantastic idea! Bed was super comfy, bathroom was roomy and the A/C worked great. Highly recommend!
This was my second time staying at this location and just like the first time I very much enjoyed my stay. Beautiful lakeside spot that's perfect for fishing, grilling, or just relaxing. Property manager is always very kind and ready to help if you need anything at during your stay. Can't wait to come back!
