Perfect Hideaway

Wonderful holiday home

We stayed for one week 1st - 8th June 2024. Lydie and family were lovely hosts and we wanted for nothing - a real home from home. The gite is exactly as described and photographed - the house has lots of character and was beautifully clean for our arrival. Very comfortable beds too. The garden and outside eating area make this gite very special indeed and we'll certainly return.

Excellent Accommodation

The accommodation is set in a quiet village with easy acces to Saumur and the area of the Loire from Angers to Tours. It is well eqipped and very comfortable. The large garden is an added bounus. The owner, Lydie is welcoming and helpful. All in all an excellent placeto stay.

A little slice of French heaven.

I cannot find the words to describe just how perfect this Gite is and give it the justice it deserves. It is beautifully decorated with all the equipment you need to enhance your stay. The garden is huge and laid out superbly and perfect if you have a dog with you. We loved our stay so much we booked our return stay for next year whilst we still sat in the garden at the property!

Beautiful

Beautiful property in lovely location. Owners leave you alone to enjoy your holiday but are only a message/call away if you need anything. Will highly recommend. We travelled as 4 adults and 1 large dog. Large garden to enjoy French sunny days

Lovely stay

Wonderful large cottage and outdoor space. During the very hot spell we used the downstairs bedroom which stayed cool, the property has everything you need for a lovely holiday which is located close to all of the tourist spots and is a great location for a cycling holiday. Lydie the owner is very welcoming and was in contact with us to guide us about the property. We will definitely be returning.

E cellent converted farm house with large garden. Thoughtfully equipped and very comfortable. Peaceful village location with a good local restaurant and 20 minutes from Saumur with many attractions. A great holiday.

Tranquility

Excellent gite which met all our needs. The back garden was absolutely fantastic and so well cared for. The front courtyard was also superb with a sheltered area for our "aperitifs" in the evening! Peaceful little hamlet with a nice little bar/restaurant just around the corner. Not far from Saumur and many other chateaux. We intend to return - possibly with two other family members. Charming Farmhouse

We stayed at this charming house for our 5 day visit to the Loire Valley. The house was very clean, functional and comfortable. There is ample secured parking and a lovely yard area with outside seating. Beds are comfortable and there is a well-equipped kitchen. It was also very quiet. Check-in and out was a breeze. Lydie, the owner, takes pride in her house and it shows. Thank you!

Highly recommend this lovely holiday house!

Very nice holiday house on the edge of a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside. Met by owner - very friendly and helpful. House is very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. Garden is big, private and very well kept. Area for eating out in the yard and a car parking area under a covered garage. Electric gates with a key fob. Nearby Vivy has a lovely bakers, butchers and post office. Lots of supermarkets to choose from in the area. An excellent base to visit some lovely places such as Saumur, Tours and Angers. Flat for cycling and great cycle paths to choose from. Hope to return again one day.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Das wunderschöne alte Bauernhaus liegt am Ortsrand eines kleinen, sehr schönen und ruhigen Dorf. Der Garten ist sehr groß, sehr schön und sehr gepflegt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und komfortabel eingerichtet. Saumur ist nah, aber auch viele andere Orte an der Loire sind gut erreichbar. Der Kontakt zu Lydie war sehr gut und unkompliziert. Alles in allem eine ausgezeichnete Unterkunft.

Einfach wunderbar

Wir waren zu zweit mit unserer Hündin für eine Woche zu Gast in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich nett, der Kontakt war nett, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Das Haus befindet sich in einem süßen typisch französischen Dorf und ist super ruhig gelegen. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Grundstück ist riesig und traumhaft zum Entspannen. Uns und unserer Hündin hat es sehr gefallen und falls wir wieder in diese Region fahren, buchen wir sicher gerne wieder diese Unterkunft. Ideal zum Entspannen

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus in Neuillé sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und Haus und Garten liebevoll dekoriert. Besonders beeindruckend war der riesige Garten, der perfekt gepflegt war und nur für uns allein zur Verfügung stand. Es gab rund um das Haus sehr geschmackvolle und bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten, sodass man zu jeder Tageszeit entweder in der Sonne oder aber auch im Schatten sitzen konnte. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man zu einem bequemen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage war für uns sehr gut. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder mit und haben viele Ausflüge mit dem Rad unternommen, weil man auf den kleinen Straßen sehr gut fahren konnte und nur wenige Autos die Straßen nutzten. Bis Saumur haben wir maximal 30 Minuten benötigt. Aber auch Autoausflüge nach Chinon, Angers oder Tours waren wegen kurzer Anfahrtswege ohne Anstrengung machbar. Wir haben einen wirklich abwechslungsreichen und dennoch erholsamen Urlaub verbringen können. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war über Whats-App völlig unkompliziert und herzlich. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen, noch einmal wieder zukommen. Dorothea und Werner

Schöne Tage in einem tollen Haus - Belles journées dans une super maison

Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war regelmäßig vorhanden - per Smartphone und persönlich, sehr angenehm. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet. wir mussten kaum eigene Sachen hinzuziehen um leben und kochen zu können, das hatten wir so noch nie erlebt. Sehr gute technische Ausstattung und ein sehr großes Grundstück mit allen Möglichkeiten. Leider konnten wir die Außenflächen wegen des kühlen Wetter nicht nutzen. Le contact avec la propriétaire était régulier - par smartphone et en personne, très agréable. La maison est entièrement équipée. Nous n'avions pas besoin d'apporter nos propres affaires pour vivre et cuisiner, nous n'avions jamais vu ça auparavant. Très bon équipement technique et un très grand terrain avec toutes les possibilités. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu utiliser les espaces extérieurs en raison du temps frais.

Douceur Angevine

Gîte spacieux, confortable, silencieux et très bien équipé. Propriétaire accueillant et attentif. . Entre Saumur et Angers, une situation idéale pour les visites : châteaux, caves, troglodytes (voir La Rochemenier) et bien entendu pour le magasinage dans les ruelles piétonnières des cités. Pratique : Super U à proximité. Un séjour conforme à notre attente.
