Canadian Rockies vacation

Beautiful home surrounded by wilderness. We loved the privacy and the views from the cabin. The river is just a few minutes walk away and offers more spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. I can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay.

Perfect location for National Park visits

Goat Mountain cabin was located in the right spot between Galcier and Yoho National Parks. Our family is on a mission to see as many as possible so staying in Golden gave us a great home base to cross two more off the list. The access to the river was perfect for morning strolls and seclusion. Made us feel like we were truly in the wilderness. The place was clean, modern and comfortable. The hosts were accommodating, quick to respond and proactive. I would definitely recommend the place and would stay there again if we’re ever back the same way.

Beautiful and peaceful cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at Goat Mountain Cabin. The cabin and scenery are even better than the photos! The cabin was perfectly stocked with well-thought out details - everything guests could want or need while traveling. And the whole house was so clean! We enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck, walking to the Blaeberry River, white water rafting in Golden, and soaks in the hot tub when we returned to the house. It was the nicest and cleanest hot tub we've ever experienced at a rental home! Thank you for the relaxing stay!

The Perfect Getaway Spot!

Wade and Christa were great hosts. They answered all of our questions and took care of everything we needed. The cabin is very clean and it's in a perfect location. The cabin is very secluded and private. The trail to the river is an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

There's nothing negative I can think of this prooerty. It's quiet, secluded, and in the middle of the nature. Loved the arrangements, amenities and supplies they provide for the guests. The best part is the huge deck. Enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. This was my 2nd time. Thanks Crista and Wade

Fabulous woodland retreat

We loved our stay at the cabin. It exceeded our expectations, both in size and location. It is surrounded by woodland, with a beautiful river just 5mins walk away. Spotless hot tub which we enjoyed after hiking! Kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils, appreciated the Nespresso machine. We loved the high ceilings in the living area, and the floor to ceiling windows with great views. It’s a bit of a drive from Golden, approx 20mins, but that wasn’t a problem. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Bacchus book store and cafe. All in all the perfect relaxing break, would definitely recommend

We loved our experience at this cabin in Golden. Beautiful area and an ideal, private cabin away from the crowds. Cabin was exceptionally clean and very well cared for. Excellent vacation rental

Wade & Crista were very responsive with any questions we had. Its a great location. Went to the river multiple times, fire pit, hot tub, not too far from Golden, waterfalls. Little farther to parks like Yoho and Banff but wasn't too bad of a drive. Saw lots of wild life during our stay and great views of the mountains. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

Very secluded, awesome place

Had a great trip to the mountains here. Very private cabin. We arrived in Golden with a town wide power outage. When we arrived at the cabin in the dark we saw a light on in the place! Wade (host) had a generator hooked up to the cabin for a little light, power and water! It was awesome! Next morning power was on in Golden again. The cabin is very nice, amenities are great. Everything you need to enjoy your stay. We are already looking to go back. :)

We have lived in the valley for 18 years. We moved here because we loved the ski hill and the beautiful views of the mountains. We are raising our two daughters to love the mountains and nature as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

This property is quiet and scenic, with access to river just a short walk out the back door. Great views all around! We plan on retiring there.
