The view was AMAZING. The cabin was very neat and tidy, had everything that we needed. We received a nice email with all the information necessary a few days in advance. Check-in was super easy. The location is quiet and secluded which was just what we were looking for. Already thinking about going back.
We booked this cabin primarily for the view which was amazing and did not disappoint.
Kids enjoyed having the loft and the Sasquatch theme was fun. Kitchen was good for cooking basic meals and grill worked fine. The driveway was a bit challenging so something to consider if you have a small vehicle.
Recommend texting the owner a day or 2 before arriving if you have not received the entry code. Also, recommend stopping in Belfast on the way in for groceries.
We enjoyed the local attractions: hiking Haystack Mtn, blueberry picking at Sweet Seasons farm, pizza from Washington General store, fishing and paddling at Stevens Pond and day trip to Camden shops and the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse.
This place is great. It’s up on a hill with an amazing view. The air conditioning was going strong to greet us which was nice coming in from a really hot day. Water tasted good. It was a nice drive to the coastal towns but secluded and has a mountain retreat feeling. My sister said she’s moving in.
Stunning views. Cool structure and innovative craftsmanship inside. Different/quirky in a good way. The place matches the photos. No oven. 2 stovetop burners. Two small fridges. Barbecue needs cleaning. Some chairs need repair. Did not use the sauna. I'd come bsck.
No number on house to make locating easier.
Door would not lock, the next day my husband fixed it so it would lock.
Stands messy and very dusty. Other areas very dusty.
Had to wash dishes before using them.
Not well attended to.
Would expect more for price charged.
We had a great time at Guy's mountain cabin, especially enjoying the great view from our the cabin. Guy is very responsive and helpful. We hope that we can visit again soon.
The view is amazing, the rooms are lovely, and communication with the manager was good. The kitchen could use a bit more checking before new guests arrive (food was left in the fridge). It was a short stay and internet wasn't available - due to no fault of the host - but generally it was a lovely cabin and we enjoyed our stay.
A quiet little spot to relax for the weekend, and the view was absolutely stunning. I'm looking forward to booking again and packing my hiking gear so I can check out the trails 🙂 definitely hit up Tobey's for your groceries, we got some garlic-butter burgers that were phenomenal.
The cabin was perfect! It was tucked away in the mountains with incredible views. Everything was exactly as stated. We wish the brew pub on site was open during our stay, but we will return!
This was the first time for us to experience living in a cabin! Guy was very responsive with our questions and very accommodating when we had asked whether he had certain items available, it was great!
Beautiful location and nicely finished cabin with everything you need. The brew pub up the hill has good food and beer if you don’t bring in your own. Guy is a generous host and has a book ready with maps and tips for local trails and fishing and swimming. Perfect!
