The guest bedroom lacks wardrobe or dresser. Our friends kept their clothes in the luggage and on the floor. The guest bathroom had a tiny sink and absolutely no space for toiletries. The pots and pans lost its teflon coating and were unusable. The refrigerator didn't work properly. Milk left in the refrigerator overnight got spoiled by the morning.Otherwise, the house was pretty clean and the property manager was very responsive and helpful.
The space was open and roomy. Fully equipped and smart tv. It is located in a convenient spot making going back and forth to Manuel Antonio a breeze. The manager was very friendly, kind and helpful. Parking was limited as there really is no space and traffic below could sometimes be loud. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this space

About the host
Hosted by Gene Evans
My name is Gene and welcome to Casa Verde in Quepos! I first visited this beautiful slice of paradise in 1991 during my early 20s. A few years afterward I bought Casa Verde and plan to retire there someday. This year is my 25th anniversary owning Casa Verde. Quepos is small, friendly, and everyone knows everyone.
Why they chose this property
Casa Verde is on a small hill with a lovely view of the village, yet seems far removed from the hustle and bustle. The home is very quiet, private and safe. The neighbors are mostly all Costa Rican and the vibe is very relaxed. Casa Verde gives our guests the opportunity to meet locals and make lasting friendships.
What makes this property unique
The home has a perfectly centralized location to enjoy everything the area offers. It is a short walk to the village center and our world-class marina. There is no need to rent a car. The Central Bus Terminal is a five-minute walk and just in front of it is the main taxi base. Buses run every 30 minutes to Manuel Antonio National Park and the surrounding beaches, and every two hours or so to San José. All the tour agencies are familiar with Casa Verde and do not charge extra to pick you up from the home for your activities.
