Girls weekend

There are 4 of us who go twice a year for the weekend. We stayed close to home this time. Our "cabin" was great!! We were in the woods, not far but what a spectacular weekend we choose! Our cabin was clean which is a big deal to me!! Beautiful wall of windowa. We enjoyed the fire. Will definitely recommend this place!!

Comfy & spacious

This was a perfect place for our group to stay while in the area for my son's wedding! The lovely house is set on a secluded, quiet, woodsy lot -- beautiful location! The kitchen had all the tools we needed to prepare our meals; the gas grill was perfect for an easy outdoor meal. There's lots of comfy furniture for lounging plus plenty of outdoor seating on the deck and by the firepit. The house is well-kept, super clean, and very organized. Books, games & puzzles are found throughout the house. The owner is friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Plenty of room at just the right price!

I have a big family and it was surprising to see this place has lots of bed. WiFi and TV is available and we got to watch the Minnesota Twins play on TV while we were there. We also got to see the northern lights while we were there on our first night but we have to drive to the lake to see it. We hiked at interstate park Wisconsin,we ate at that otter restaurant ( and they have very good pizza!) and we walked around the city Balsam Lake. This place was a perfect place to stay with the whole family!

Such a gem!

This is a beautiful property nestled in the woods, but not far from town. It is great for families. There's plenty of sleeping space, so you're not on top of each other or shoved all into one room. The nearby beach was wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wonderful Retreat from home

This beautiful cabin was tucked away in Basalm Lake with a great property available to explore. Plenty of space for the whole family to spread out and a large living area for us to come together. Great choice 30 min from Interstate Park.

Family Weekend Up North

Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay! The home was very spacious and we all had private bedroom areas. The first floor living spaces provided room to relax, have dinner and play games. We used the gas grill that’s out on the porch to cook supper one evening. All appliances we used functioned well also. The home is conveniently located within 20 minutes of a few communities in the area making it a good base from which to explore and then retreat back to secluded privacy. Brenda our host reached out to ensure we got there safely and to answer any questions we might have had. She was so thoughtful! Thanks for sharing your home with us Brenda!

Just what we needed!

We booked this house as extra space for family in town visiting over the fourth of July. It exceeded our expectations! The property was very clean and we loved the view looking out onto the property! We got to meet the own at check-in and she was so kind to show us around the house. Plenty of space for everyone, and we appreciated that there were bathrooms on each level of the house in close proximity to the bedrooms. We loved the property so much that we're planning a fall or winter stay later this year.

Beautiful autumn setting!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, clean and comfortable home and its quiet spot in the forest. It’s well equipped for meals and has comfy bedrooms and we enjoyed the seasonal decor. A special place for our annual family get-together. Favorite moment: coffee on the deck wrapped in cozy blankets as the sun shone through fall leaves. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great space for multiple couples

We had a weekend stay here with three couples - originally planned for four. There was plenty of space and great shared area as well. We spent the day on the lake and while this property is off the lake, it was easy to get there. Also enjoyed Indianhead supper club as well. Fun weeekend - thank you for the hospitality!
