About this property

In the heart of the Auvergne volcanoes, the Gîte des jonquilles welcomes you

Family house (old farmhouse) very cozy, freshly renovated, you can come take a breath of fresh air and calm: large living room, 3 single bedrooms upstairs and 2 rooms of water. In summer, you can enjoy the outside with a beautiful furnished terrace (garden furniture, parasol, 2 sun loungers, barbecue) and a green lawn. It is ideally located between massif du sancy and chaine des puys, so it is the departure of circuits to discover this region.
In winter, it is located 15 minutes from the Cap Guery mountain center, Nordic ski area with Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, dog sled rides. It also allows easy access to the Mont Dore ski resort (30km) for downhill skiing.
You can easily discover beautiful natural sites: puy de sancy, puy dome, lake guery, lac servieres, chain puys ... as well as the local heritage: basilica orcival, castle of ropes, castle of murol ...
You can also head to vulcania or the Lemptgy volcano or to outdoor activities like the accrofun of pessade. Documentation is available inside the accommodation to find ideas for a ride.
Inside, you will find some authentic furniture belonging to the house since always.

Logement est situé dans un petit coin très paisible, au calme, les enfants peuvent jouer sur un terrain juste a côté. Il suffit de faire 10 a 15 minute de route pour trouver des sentier de randonnée, de belles balades, cascades, restaurants.L'accueil est super. Je pense que l'on reviendra.

Magnifique gîte au cœur de la campagne de la chaîne des puys

Point de départ très central pour de nombreuses activités aux alentours, le gîte est idéalement placé. Une belle maison de style, ancienne ferme bien rénovée. La propriétaire est très réactive et fort sympathique. Je recommande cette location.

Nice area shame about the misrepresentation

Ideally situated in the heart of Volcano country but the accommodation was not as advertised in that there was 1 shower room downstairs and 1 toilet with a hand basin upstairs. The ''2 salles de bains with WCs'' is incorrect and therefore the facilities are inadequate for 6 people. Despite these difficulties we enjoyed exploring this picturesque region of France with its magnificent views.

Le gîte est bien situé pour rayonner dans la chaîne des puy. Gîte au calme, un supermarché est disponible à 7min en voiture. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour pour le calme et pour la situation du gîte qui nous a permis de faire des excursions tous les jours.

Excellent séjour au coeur de la chaîne des Puy d'Auvergne

Nous avons passer d'excellentes vacances, nous avons pu visiter beaucoup d'endroits comme les Puy bien évidemment, les cascades, Vulcania (bien pour les enfants surtout)... Etc Le logement est vraiment agréable, a l'écart et au calme avec tout ce qu'il faut pour divertir de jeunes enfants. Nous n'avons clairement pas vu le temps passé. Merci a notre hôtesse qui a su mettre tout a notre disposition pour que notre séjour soit agréable.

Maison impeccable, très bien aménagée et décorée. on se sent comme à la maison! Bien située au calme dans un petit village non loin des points de visite. Grand jardin pour jouer avec une balançoire, une cuisine parfaitement aménagée, 3 belles chambres confortables et fonctionnelles avec des placards de rangement. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, les propriétaires sont très aimables et réactifs. Nous recommandons sans problème le gite.

Lovely property, very well equipped. Extremely peaceful. Lots of help from family when minor issues identified. Super carrefour outside R Montagne, nearest small town which sadly had no restaurants, but did have patisserie and baker.

Maison traditionnelle dans un hameau isolé et tranquille, très propre et très bien équipée, dommage, il n'y a pas de cheminée et la salle d'eau donne sur la cuisine. La propriétaire est très agréable et l'emplacement de la maison est vraiment propice aux escapades vers les volcans.
