Ideally located, very quiet and 5 minutes walk from the center of Penon and 5 minutes drive from the central Hossegor. Double garden with barbecue in front and griddle behind. 1 bedroom and 1 mezzanine with 3 beds. 1 WC, 1 TV with Sky English / Italian, Wi-Fi, washing machine and dishwasher, sofa bed for 2 other people for a total of 6 people.

Logement peu entretenu

La localisation est très agréable, tout proche de la plage. La maison est jolie et bien décorée mais pas grand chose ne fonctionne correctement. Du lave linge à la télévision en passant par la douche bouchée, cafetière, le tire bouchon... pas de barbecue comme indiqué dans l'annonce, placha sans ustensile sale et inutilisable du coup, bref, la maison n'est pas entretenue ce qui est dommage et les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix payé. Proprio sympa cependant. Mes vacances furent malgré tout très réussies

First appearance of house was good but quickly became negative

To start with a positive, the owner always answered emails and WhatsApp messages very quickly. Before we arrived I asked for the address for the GPS. We were given the wrong address and arrived at a private residence several km away. When we found the house we were told there was a problem with the plumbing of the washing machine but someone was coming on Monday to fix it. In the meantime it could still be used. No one came to fix it and when we did use the machine it flooded the bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen supplies are very sparse, the Nespresso machine doesn't work, and only two burners on the stove worked. The wifi was good but the TV never worked. We were told it would be fixed but it never was. Finally, the lock on the front door was broken and same as for the TV it was never repaired as promised. The only positives I can find for this house is the location. It is 100m from the beach and a five minute drive to the Lac d'Hossegor. There is a lot to do in the area for families.
