In the Loire Anjou Touraine regional park, in the heart of the Bourgueil appellation, ideal starting point for exploring the vineyards and castles of the Loire, Chinon, Langeais, Saumur, Villandry, Rigny Ussé. Walks along the Loire at biking, river tours in all huts on the Vienne and the Loire, visit to cellars. Nearby forest, mountain biking, hiking.
Town center at 2.5 km.

This gîte for 4/6 people, an extension of a wine-growing estate, is located 2 km from the city center. River and vineyard 50 meters away offer beautiful walks.

Le gîte est spacieux, la literie est très bonne.Le cadre est agréable, au calme. Les propriétaires sont discrets et sympathiques.Monsieur Ménard nous a généreusement fait découvrir ses vins, tous très bons! Nous avons eu la chance de visiter la région sous le soleil.Nous recommandons.

Un environnement bucolique et chaleureux

Avant notre arrivée Patricia a pris le temps de répondre à mes questions et nous a renseigné. Nous avons passé 3 nuits chez Hervé et Patricia. Arrivés tard dans la nuit, nous avons pu facilement nous installer. Les chanbres étaient propres, le salon joli et la cuisine fonctionnelle. Le hasard a fait que notre séjour coïncidait avec le pique nique des vignerons indépendants, et ce fut l'occasion de découvrir le travail de la vigne avec des cheveaux, goûter les vins de la maison au son d'un groupe de rock lors d'un barbecue, dans une ambiance conviviale. La maison est un peu froide, et nous avons brûlé quelques bûches le soir. Sur la terrasse à l'ombre d'un arbre, nous avons pu profiter du chant des grenouilles. Merci pour ce moment, et à bientôt

Perfect for a short stay

Patricia is a charming hostess and did all she could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The gite forms part of a working vineyard and is surrounded by miles of open farmland and vineyards. We found it a great base to explore the beautiful Loire valley and its many chateaux. Too much to see not enough time to do it all. The local town is charming and has an excellent supermarket. The kitchen was well equipped ( apart from an electric kettle), and everything was spotlessly clean. There were of basic supplies including a range of cleaning equipment. We would certainly recommend it. Thank you Patricia and Herve.
