Beautiful

Nice, convenient, organized! A little tough to find, but once you are there it is an easy destination to get to in a town that isn't easy to get around. Apt to train is literally 5 minutrs!!!

This is the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The view is indescribable, you’ll never want to leave. Manuel was super friendly and answered any question we had very promptly. The directions to the place were very descriptive and helpful. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Cinque Terre!

Lovely

This truly is in an ideal location. Yes, there are a million steps, but you are in Cinque Terre so that is unavoidable. When you descend the stairs to the bottom, you immediately arrive in the main area for food and fun. Chiarra was very communicative and allowed us an early check-in. Highly recommend, if you plan to stay in Riomaggiore!

Perfect day in Cinque Terre

Fabulous experience in Cinque terra!! Villa was magnificent! Well furnished with great view!! Host was very helpful. Magnifico!!! We went on a hike up to the top between the next city in the afternoon and had a very nice dinner at one of the local restaurants. It was amazing! Highly recommend a stay At this VRBO rental!!

Great location, clean, and cozy! A must!!!

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was cozy, modern, clean and provided the basics for cooking. It had a comfortable queen bed and a clean modern bathroom! Everything worked great! The parking garage is located as soon as you get into town. DO NOT pass into the residential area or the barriers, you’ll get a fine. Martina was very friendly and met us at the parking garage and walked us to the apartment, a 7 min walk with stairs. Tips for the stay: it’s a hike to get around, lots of steps, if you can train in, I would recommend it. We stayed for 2 nights and paid 70 euro to park. We stayed in November (off-season) and the town was quiet. I can’t even imagine what this town is like during busy tourist times. We ended up getting an all-day train pass...highly recommended for 13 euro each. We saw all the towns in one day. Our day visiting all the cities was 7+ miles of walking and 114 flights of stairs...definitely a great workout! Our fav towns were Riomaggiore, Manarola and Vernazza. We will be returning!!!

An amazing little getaway with a large beautiful terrace

This home was perfect for us! We loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening with a bottle of wine to wind down from the day. There are a lot of steps up to get to the place but we had expected that. We also loved having a washing machine. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others traveling to Riomaggiore.

Loved Riomaggiore

Wow!! This was the most magical relaxing place so far on our 3 week Italy trip. Chiara, our host was very kind, she met us when we arrived and gave us lots of information to be sure we had an excellent visit. We toured the other 4 villages, but loved Riomaggiore the best!! Amazing!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and I could have stayed for 40 more. The views from this apartment are absolutely breath taking. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Riomaggiore, as with the other Cinque Terre towns, was filled with tourists, however this apartment location makes you feel like you are alone on a beautiful retreat. The area is perfectly located for plenty of hiking opportunities and easily accessible by train. As I am sure all review has said, be prepared to walk a lot and with lots of stairs and inclined streets.

Perfect Location!

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we are planning to return! Riomaggiore was the perfect place for us to stay and this apartment was the ideal location-- Not too many steps with our heavy suitcases! I cannot say enough good things about this rental. I highly recommend it!!

Stunning view of Riomaggiore

What an amazing place to stay in Cinque Terre! It is quite the walk up to the apartment and then down to the major part of the city- but it is completely worth it! We only wish we had time to sit on the huge terrace and just relax a little more! They were extremely helpful getting us all checked in and answered all questions that we had! If you can manage the walk to the apartment with your luggage (pack light!!) this is definitively a place to stay!

Aussichtsbalkon von Riomaggiore

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung dürfte eine der besten sein, die man in Riomaggiore erhalten kann: weit oben am nördlichen Hang gleich unter den Mauern des Kastells gelegen, mit Morgensonne (wegen der Höhe des gegenüberliegenden Berges erst bei etwas höherem Sonnenstand) und Panoramablick auf das Meer, die umliegenden Berge und den amphitheaterartig angelegten Ort. Für Wanderungen eine ideale Ausgangslage, da der Aufstieg über die verwinkelten Treppen des Ortes weitgehend entfällt. Auch der Bahnhof ist gut erreichen. Man benötigt bis dorthin etwa 10 Minuten. Bis zur Via Colombo, der "Hauptstraße" des Ortes, und zum Hafen sind es keine 5 Minuten, wenn man die schnellste Verbindung über die zahlreichen Treppengassen nimmt (Einstieg gleich schräg gegenüber des unteren - leider stets verschlossenen - Zugangs zum Grundstück mit einem Hinweistext, der die Nr. "33" enthält und so leicht zu erkennen ist. Die Wohnung besteht aus einem in Wohnküche und Schlafzimmer unterteilten Raum und einem Bad mit Dusche, WC und Bidet. Für zwei Personen ist der Platz ausreichend. Positiv hervorzuheben sind das gepflegte, gut funktionierende Bad, das gute Bett mit Lattenrost und Federkernmatratze und die Küchenzeile mit vierflammigem Gasherd und Spülmaschine. Der als Raumteiler fungierende Kleiderschrank bietet viel Platz. Die Ausstattung der Küche erschien uns teilweise etwas spartanisch, weshalb wir für unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt ein paar Dinge nachkauften (Salatschüssel, Sieb, Müslischalen ...). Hervorzuheben ist die gut ausgestattete, schön gestaltete und praktisch ausgestattete Terrasse mit großem Tisch, zwei Liegestühlen, zwei Sitzbänken unter einem Pomeranzenbaumchen sowie Waschbecken und Wäschetrockenbereich. Sie lädt zu einem Frühstück oder Abendessen mit Blick auf den quirligen kleinen Ort, die felsige Küste und das Meer ein. Radio und Fernsehen sind nicht vorhanden, doch ist WLAN / WiFi im Innenbereich und auch auf der Terrasse (bei offener Tür) stabil verfügbar. Chiara, die Vermieterin, nahm sich viel Zeit, um uns Vorschläge für Wanderungen und Ausflüge sowie Restaurantbesuche zu machen. Infomaterial gibt es in der Wohnung hingegen nur wenig, doch ist es bis zur Touristeninformation nicht weit. Ihre Großmutter wohnt in der darüberliegenden Wohnung und kümmert sich bei längerem Aufenthalt um den Wäschetausch. Einige Hinweise zum Schluss: Wer guten Käse, frischen Fisch und die Vielfalt von Obst und Gemüse liebt, dem sei der Wochenmarkt im nahen La Spezia
