Located in a private neighborhood with beautiful landscape. We have walking trails and wildlife everywhere. You are only minutes from downtown Mentone and other local attractions. Do not miss the opportunity to rent this beautiful cabin with all the extras. The cabin is located on 1.6 acre wooded lot for privacy and very little traffic. Feed the wildlife for constant visits of deer, turkey, rabbits and more. You can relax on the front porch or the screened in back porch. We have a hot tub and fire pit for your outdoor enjoyment. The downstairs master bedroom features a king bed while the upstairs loft bedroom has a queen bed and a full size futon that can also be used as two twin beds. A full kitchen with all appliances including a dishwasher. Washer and dryer also available in laundry room. The cozy den has a queen size sleeper sofa. Please respect our permanent residents and other renters...NO LOUD MUSIC OR PARTIES.

Everything was better than pictured, this is an amazing place to stay with just the spouse or even the whole family! The cabin had everything you could need for a good stay! Super clean and very fun! Book your stay!

Overall pleasant

Wifi very bad but had cable TV for type of entertainment. Its perfect for not wanting the outside world to constantly contact you. Comfortable, good nature surroundings, best supplied ive seen for having backups of all appliances (paper towels, toilet paper, towels, accessible laundry, ect.).

Mentone Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay at the cabin. The cabin was cozy, comfy and beautifully decorated. Lisa has done an excellent job at making sure the cabin has everything you will need for your stay, other than food, of course. My family really enjoyed the hot tub and we enjoyed playing some of the board games provided. The kitchen was very well stocked for all your cooking needs.. A bonus was that we had snow which made the trio even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay at this cabin again

Girls relaxing!

This was the second time I have stayed in this cabin. I decided to stay agaIn because it was the last place I had vacationed with my husband before his passing in February! It felt like we had a little bit of him with us! The cabin is very cozy just right for myself and my daughter and granddaughter. It’s close enough to surrounding attractions that we could go to Rock Cityto see the Christmas lights. The cabin is located in a really nice quiet neighborhood. The only thing I would fix is a little more lighting where you park vehicles.

Great play to stay and getaway from it all

Great cabin in a heavily wooded neighborhood. We had a great stay while exploring Northeast Alabama. The host was honest about the poor internet availability. Take this into account if internet is important to you. Overall we had a great experience.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful time just getting away from everything. Cabin is cozy, clean, well stocked and close to Mentone. Careful with the directions. The 4-5 miles part is actually just over one mile. If you aren’t watching you will miss it.

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin and it is a hidden gem! Everything works well- jacuzzi tub, hot tub, all appliances. Comes fully stocked and ready. Perfect if you want a well planned trip ahead of time but is ready to go for a last minute get away choice! Will book here over and over again!

We had a very good time. My favorite part was coffee bar but hot tub and fire pit were awesome as well. We celebrated a birthday with a weekend getaway and everyone in the family enjoyed themselves. I would love to go back again.

This is our second cabin in Mentone's Laurel Creek Lakes and we love the area and the residents in this remarkable community. We are from Selma, AL and have fallen in love with this scenic area of North Alabama.

Why they chose this property

Our property is a perfect getaway to unplug and relax. We're close to the small towns of Mentone and Fort Payne, Alabama and Menlo and Summerville, Georgia for local small town fun but not too far from Chattanooga, Tennessee (45 minutes) if you want to do some larger city sight seeing.

What makes this property unique

We have clear walking trails with access to three lakes. Throw a little corn in the yard and be prepared to see deer, turkeys, rabbits and other wildlife. After a day of sightseeing relax in the hot tub or around a cozy fire in the fire pit.
