Honestly, I would give this host NO STARS. I reserved this apartment from Aug 11-15. Arriving early on Aug 11, I contacted the owner to ask if I could possibly check-in earlier than 4pm. The owner replied that her current guest had not yet checked out, but I could check-in the following day! I quickly re-checked my booking confirmation and told the owner that I had reserved the apartment for Aug 11. Her response? "Sorry." And this host has a "no refund" policy! So, there I sat in the Vancouver Airport, alone, a 70+-year-old woman with no place to go, and I receive an email from ArriveCan that I had been randomly chosen for a Covid test. Lucky me. I decided to get the test out of the way and then sat in the Covid testing site for 4+ hours on the phone with VRBO Customer Service while they scrambled to find me a last-minute accommodation nearby the event that I was attending on a busy summer weekend at a popular travel destination. Long story short, VRBO found me a place to stay, on their nickel, and made certain that I received a full refund from this host. Thank you VRBO. In my opinion, this host should be removed from your listings. Her cancellation with no prior notice is unacceptable.
