Location and Space!

We enjoyed the house! The property provided a great view of the ocean! The corner lot is nice, you feel very private. This was our first time staying in Surfside and we enjoyed this beach. We found the house to be very accommodating for our large group.

Great location!

Perfect location and house to spend time with friends! The few maintenance items were quickly addressed. Negatives included that listing said there was an ice maker and a hot tub - did not have. House and furniture needs a deep clean, shower liners need to be replaced and bath drains don’t stay open.

Great time in SC

The house was accurately described. Pool maintenance was great! The house could have used some basic maintenance-sliding glass door did not lock and chipping paint. Biggest issue was that the house was not cleaned at all before our arrival. Food stuck on countertops, cabinets, kitchen table was sticky with food, pistachio shells were in the end table drawers and bedroom dresser drawers, kitchen floor was sticky and filthy, dishes in the cabinets were dirty and tons of food was underneath the beds. Disappointing for the money.

Surfside Beach family vacation

The Property was perfect for our family, size and closeness to the beach was great with 5 small children and the private pool was a major plus. The home could have been cleaner, the tile floors were dirty, carpet needed vacuumed, bathrooms were dirty, there were items and food on the floor and under furniture from previous guests, the dining table was still dirty from previous guests. The sliding door needed to be replaced there was no handle on the outside of the door. Very nice house and nice furnishings, but not clean.

Great location

The place was reasonably clean. It was not as clean as we would have expected for the price of the stay and the cleaning fees. The house was perfect for our large group, and it's spot-on the beach was amazing.

Surfside Beach vacation

We were very pleased with the location and cleanliness of Pelham House Too. The floor plan made the area roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked very well. The pool was kept clean. There were even beach chairs available for our use. We called about a couple of minor issues and a maintenance man was there the next day. The only thing missing was a hot tub, but that was not a priority. We have been coming to Myrtle Beach fir nearly 40 years and this may be the cleanest place we have stayed. We will definitely return to Pelham House Too.

Poison Ivy House

Not worth what we paid, very disappointed! Sliding glass door on beach front had a one inch gap when we arrived which we could not open, close or lock, called maintenance. They were very nice when they came to repair it but had to fix it where it couldn’t be opened or closed; SO we had to use the bathroom entrance all week instead of going in and out the sliding door. Poison ivy growing along side of the whole house up the trees and along the carport, (husband very allergic to Posion ivy). Microwave in kitchen cracked and no turntable inside only a plate. Master bedroom upstairs toilet paper holder missing. Roach bugs inside the house! Fireworks during the night coming from the hotel next door. Electrical problem with lights in stairwell. Just a very disappointing week for so much money! Can send pictures!

Family Beach vacation

The property was appropriately listed. The photos are accurate. Awesome to have a location with a pool directly on the beach. There is public access right next door to the property, but that made it nice to use a wagon to move items to the beach instead of up and over the stairs. No problems at all with the public beach access ie. no riff-raff! I would only suggest having pump soap available to your guests and more toilet tissue and other paper products like trash bags, dish soap, and dishwashing detergent. It is a nice gesture for guests. All in all, I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect Family Getaway

This place was absolutely perfect for our Family Reunion! The pool was the perfect size for the little ones (and not so little ones) after a long day in the sun and beach could not be closer. Ample kitchen for large family meals and plenty of seating. Check-in and Check-out was seamless. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful beach from home.

Rental as promised and as noted in pictures. Beautiful and well-appointed. The beach chairs and pool noodles and floats were an unexpected surprise. Hope whoever buys it continues it as a rental.
