Room with a great view

We loved the view from the window and the balcony and watching the sunsets from there. The flat had enough room for two and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. One older review stated that they don't offer bedding and towels. That's not true. There was some spare ones if needed too.

Le Portel c'est le paradis.

Logement à recommander pour son emplacement, sa propreté et le matériel à disposition...j'y ajoute la gentillesse de la propriétaire - la soirée fruits de mer au champagne fût divine,merci- et de Marie qui nous a accueillie.

Vue large sur la mer les bateaux au rythme de la marée

Appartement bien situé vraiment face à la mer possibilité de faire toutes les courses à pied. Le logement est confortable très bien équipé je le recommande vivement pour deux personnes.

Eine Reise wert

Wir verbrachten eine sehr schöne Woche in Le Portel. Es gibt viel zu sehen und von der Ferienwohnung aus kann man direkt an der Küste loswandern. Die Ferienwohnung ist für zwei Personen perfekt und der Blick aus dem Fenster bzw dem Balkon ist traumhaft. In der Nähe gibt es auch einige nette Restaurants. Kochen ist in der Wohnung aber auch sehr gut möglich, da die Küche gut ausgestattet ist! Das Bett war schmäler als erwartet (keine Angaben im Inserat) und das Bad ist deutlich kleiner als es auf den Bildern erscheint. Ansonsten hat alles prima gepasst. Wir wurden sehr nett von Marie empfangen und verabschiedet! Vielen Dank auch für das Willkommensgeschenk!

De ligging en het zicht op zee zijn prima , de keuken het toilet en de leefruimte zijn ook OK , maar de rest van het appartement is maar middelmaat : het bed is erg klein , de badkamer meet precies 1,36 m² ( de kleinste badkamer die we ooit gezien hebben ) , de koffiezet is fin de carrière , er is geen kapstok ( alle jassen , truien , … op stoelen en op de grond ) . Maar wat wij het ergst vonden : er is geen Wifi . In de beschrijving van het appartement 100+ Mbps , in werkelijkheid 0 Mbps . De eigenares zei eerst dat het maandag gerepareerd zou worden , dan werd het dinsdag , op het einde van onze vakantie was er nog altijd niets gebeurd . De eigenares liet niets meer van zich horen .Geen wifi betekende voor ons ook geen e-mail , geen whatsapp , geen mogelijkheden om iets op te zoeken . Dus erg primitief contact ( sms ) met kinderen en familie en geen mogelijkheid om van op afstand te werken . Dit appartement : neen , bedankt .

Petit appartement agréable pour un court séjour

Nous avons apprécié la localisation de l'endroit et la mer à portée de vue chaque jour! Petit bémol : un lit plus large aurait mieux convenu, maintenant nous avons tous ou presque l'expérience de lit en 160 cm de large.

Une vue superbe, un bon accueil

Très bon accueil, un petit appartement très bien situé avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et le fort de l'Heur. Appartement bien équipé, avec le nécessaire pour un séjour familial. Literie confortable même pour le clip clac du salon utilisé pour l'enfant.

Klein, aber fein

Der Kontakt: der Emailkontakt mit den Vermietern lief problemlos. Wir haben auf deutsch oder englisch geschrieben und die Antwort auf französisch erhalten - ließ sich dank Internet problemlos übersetzen. Der Kontakt vor Ort spricht allerdings ausschließlich französisch, mit Übersetzungsapp ist aber auch das keine unüberwindbare Hürde. Der Ort: Le Portel ist ein kleiner Badeort, der mit feinem weichen Sand und einem bewachten Strand punktet. Trotz Ebbe & Flut ist Schwimmen jederzeit möglich, da sich kein Schlick, sondern eine feste Sandbank bildet. Bei Ebbe unbedingt zum Fort de l'Heurt (festes Schuhwerk) hinauslaufen! In den Gassen oberhalb befinden sich einige kleine Geschäfte, Restaurants und die Tourist-Info: ohne französisch Kenntnisse ein wenig abenteuerlich, aber machbar. Supermärkte wie LIDL, ALDI oder Intermarché sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Wohnung: Nicht vom Äußeren des Hauses täuschen lassen. Nach einer engen und steilen Treppe in den ersten Stock gelangt man in die kleine Wohnung, die für zwei Personen ideal ist, für drei machbar und für vier vielleicht ein bißchen eng. Topp: der Blick vom (sehr schmalen) Balkon aufs Meer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, möchten aber die künftigen Gäste noch auf ein paar Dinge aufmerksam machen: 1. Bettwäsche und Handtücher müssen mitgebracht werden. Achtung: die zu beziehenden Bettdecken sind extra groß und für zwei gedacht. Die Standardbettwäsche in 135 x 200 oder 155 x 200 cm hilft hier nicht weiter. Das Bett im Schlafzimmer und die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer sind bequem - hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. 2. Backofen und Ceranfeld hängen an nur einer Sicherung: nicht zusammen benutzen, sonst fliegt diese raus. Sollte es doch mal passieren: Sicherungskasten ist im Flur direkt über der Wohnungstür. Ansonsten ist die Küche gut ausgestattet und neuwertig. 3. Droht Regen, unbedingt die Jalousien im Wohnzimmer schließen, das Regenwasser läuft nämlich herein (und das nicht wenig), ist aber laut unserem Kontakt vor Ort "normal". 4. Das Duschen sollte bei mehreren Personen geplant werden, sonst ist das warme Wasser "aus". 5. Gute Übersetzungsapp oder noch besser Grundkenntnisse in französisch sind zu empfehlen! Ich erwarte nicht, daß im Urlaubsland deutsch gesprochen wird, aber hätte doch erwartet, mit englisch weiterzukommen (klappt aber meist nur in der Tourist-Info). 6. Gute Internetqualität, aber kein kostenfreies WLAN. Fernsehsender nur französisch und englisch.
