Perfect home to spend family vacations in sunny Florida. We offer 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, open concept floor plan, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, Dish TV, internet. Drives to the local beaches range from 15-45 minutes, We have a private setting so you can fully relax and enjoy your time away from everyday hassles! We are located just a mile from many restaurants, Wall Mart, Sam's Club, bowling, ice cream shops and more. Our neighborhood is fairly undeveloped. Our screened in lanai offers a refreshing heated pool, gas grill, dining table and chairs, lounge chairs and floating chairs for the pool.
Our Master bedroom offers a comfortable King bed, Roku TV, nightstands and large window overlooking the pool. The bathroom offers a walk-in closet, double sinks, private toilet, garden tub and a corner shower. Bedroom # 2 (Beach room) offers a comfortable queen bed, nightstands and closet. The window overlooks the back yard. The third bedroom (Turtle room) offers a comfortable queen bed, nightstands and closet. There is a bathroom and laundry room located between the bedrooms. There is a pocket door that separates these rooms from the main living room for additional privacy. The main living room has a comfortable couch with a chaise lounger, Smart TV w/DISH Tv and a DVD player. A conversation/reading room is located off the kitchen next to the dining room. It has 4 chairs, an ottoman and 2 side tables with lights. The kitchen also has a bar with 4 swivel bar chairs. The dining table has seating for 6 and is the perfect place to challenge each other to card and board games. Love to play board games or cards? We have you covered! We have a multitude of games and card games along with several puzzles.
If you need extra beds, we offer a comfortable queen-sized roll away Murphy bed ( there is room in the Master bedroom or by the dining table).

Going to the beach? We have chairs to take to the beach along with towels, and beach blanket. We also have the necessary tools for finding sharks teeth.

We also have several bikes from toddlers to adults for your use. A stroller is provided for small children.

Our welcome booklet will provide you with all the necessary information you will need to fully enjoy your stay.

Great for families

We greatly enjoyed our stay and are thankful for the fast communication and problem solving from the property manager. House is equipped with everything a family could ever need for a vacation in Florida...my only complaint would be that the WiFi was very slow...highly recommend!

Wonderful place!

It’s our second time staying at Cathy’s place. We choose it because our kids love the pool and close proximity to all the attractions, my dog loves the backyard and my husband and I love it because it offers peace and quiet and privacy! It’s the best place to stay! It makes you want to buy a house and move to Port Charlotte!!

Quiet, comfortable and relaxing

The property was roomy and comfortable. The screened in pool area was amazing. The house is in a very quiet area with hardly any road or city noise. On clear nights, it's a perfect place to star gaze. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful Family Trip

We came down to Port Charlotte to see my brother in law and his family. We rented this house and loved every minute we spent there. The home was so beautiful and was setup to make your stay as comfortable as possible. My kiddos loved playing in the pool out back. We would definitely stay here again. The hosts are amazing and have great communication. We highly recommend this home to anyone coming to the area. Close to so many beaches as well!

Awesome Vacation Experience!

We have stayed all over Florida and this house was one of our favorites. We loved the secluded area and private pool. And even though it's secluded, everything in town is so close! The house is spacious and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are all very new. Having the gas grill outside was great. And our little dog loved the back yard. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Our vacation

This was our second stay at Cathys house. Last year and thid past week..We love the house, the privacy, the beautiful Lanai and the pool. One con was the construction going on next door early in the morning !! So many games for the kids and easy to get to shops , food places ! Our 9yr old son was placed on hospice recently and this getaway is just what we needed. Thank You Cathy !♡

A great stay in Port Charlotte!

We had a great time at this property! The house is spotlessly clean and well kept. The beds are very comfortable and the garden tub was such a nice treat. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed during our stay. The owner provides excellent communication and is always available for any questions. Our dog loved the yard and we loved being able to take long walks through the quiet neighborhood. The pool is very clean and private and it was so nice being able to relax. The garage is perfect for being able to keep the car parked out of the hot Florida sun. The owner provides everything needed for a perfect stay, from bikes to beach toys, a dog throw for the couch and even extra dog bowls. We appreciated everything and felt right at home. Thank you so much Cathy, for sharing your beautiful house with us and we will definitely be back again!

Overall a decent experience. Not pleased with garbage issue and wasp issue

Overall a decent experience. We arrived Sunday when entering the home the process was simple but we smelt garbage immediately when entering the home there were several wasp nests on the roof of the foyer entrance. When entering the garage both garbage cans were over flowing with trash and could not be placed out until Wednesday. And the ants on the kitchen counter were impossible even with traps all over the counter and floor and we cleaned the counter tops constantly trying to rid the ants. It was a beautiful open house the beds were very comfortable, the pool water was warm and perfect temperature, the bedrooms were very spacious. The beach towels and other accessories was a blessing. Other than the few small issues it was accomidtable to its description.

Wonderful for Spring Break

Amazing time! My husband and I went with our son, our friend and her son, both kids 9/10 yrs old. The place is perfect. Plenty of space for both families. Set the kids up in one room together, yet they preferred to set the extra mattress up in the living room for the TV. There was also a Murphy bed available. So there could’ve slept a few more people had we needed to! Close to Walmart, Target, Aldi, Dollar stores for any supplies needed, yet aside from groceries, anything we could’ve asked for was available. Nice neighborhood for walks in the morning. We had intentions of using the bikes available but spent most of our time at the house on the porch playing games provided while kids played in pool with the floaties and pool toys that were there for our use. Went to Venice Beach and Boca Grande; both about 40 min drive which was reasonably close. They each had a different vibe, Boca Grande was absolutely beautiful! Short drive into Punta Gorda for a tiki boat tour, which was a huge hit for kids and adults; we had dolphin sightings and one came up to our boat. TT’s Tiki bar on the water is one of our favorites to hang out for drinks while kids play outdoor games.Used the grill provided for dinner one night and also ventured out to the Twisted Fork a few times, for dinner and drinks and live music. Location was centrally located to anything we wanted to see/do, yet not as crowded as Fort Myers area spring breakers. We are already talking about booking again. Loved our stay!!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Cathy’s home! Our kids loved the pool and the back lanai area! The location was great close to stores, but the location made it great to go to many beaches we hadn’t been to before!

If you want quiet and peacefulness stay here! I especially loved her pool. I read 4 books while walking back and forth in the pool.. The home was very close to shop and beaches. Everything is provided for you. Even access to her garage to park your car. I would definitely rent from Cathy again. But, hopefully my house will be finished by the holidays. Thank you Cathy! Loved it

My family enjoyed the stay, kids loved the pool and outside backyard and my dog loved it all the space for him to run and play! It’s not far to the beach and stores and restaurants and we follow owner’s recommendation for ice cream place. Overall best vacation ever!

Great house for family vacation

Our philosophy entails our guests are comfortable and have whatever they need to enjoy their stay. We value our time with our family and hope you enjoy your vacation time together in our home. We own and operate our family campground in the Endless Mountains of northern PA. Along with our children and fabulous staff, we work endlessly to provide a great family experience to our guests.. We have the same mindset with our Florida home. Since we have a seasonal business, we are blessed to be able to enjoy Florida with our family during our winter months. We rent our home while we are working at the campground.

We took our property off the market in 2023 as we completed repairs from Hurricane Ian. The good news is that out of all the challenges, we can now offer a newly restored home with new floors, roof, walls and furniture.

For myself and our family, it’s all about spending down time together. Our home allows my children and grandchildren a place to vacation together in a private and comfortable setting. We love using the pool, riding bikes, playing games in the evening and going to the beach a few times. Don’t forget about stopping for ice cream every day! Grocery shopping is only 1.5 miles away along with many restaurants, movies, golf, boating, fishing, etc. Being in the hospitality business for over 25 years, we know how important it is to treat our guests as family. We know you’ll be glad you gave our home a try!

After many years of renting vacation homes and being unsatisfied with the “comforts of home”, we make it a priority to offer great amenities. Our home is well stocked to assure you enjoy your vacation. Furniture is updated on a regular basis so you have a comfortable rest during your stay with us. Allegiant Air makes travel a breeze and is about a 20 minute drive to the airport. They also offer rental car services. The airport is small and extremely easy to navigate. We're located close to everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. If you seek adventure, their are many boat charters, jet ski rentals, golf courses, etc. close by.
For those just wanting to enjoy the warm sun and need a place to decompress there is no better place to hide out and still be able to enjoy local restaurants and music nearby.
