Beachside cottage in family friendly neighborhood

Beach side cottage on quiet dead end street is a two minute walk to beautiful Long Sands Beach and a 15 minute walk to the bustling, kid-friendly downtown area. Perfect for a family of 4 weekly vacation with easy access to beaches, downtown arcade and York's Wild Kingdom and casual dining establishments.

The Cottage inclues a full kitchenette, oudoor gas grill and picnic table in the front yard for summer dining al fresco.

Two bedrooms, each with a full size bed plus a pull out sofa located in common area. Sleeps 6. Linens and bath towels provided. Free wifi and TV.

Free parking for two cars adjacent to the cottage.

Seasonal rental - June through Columbus Day only.

Please no parties or events, no smoking, no pets

Minimum age of Primary Renter:25

7 day minimum for reservations, Rental period is Saturday to Saturday.

Broken Hot Water Heater

We checked in Sat afternoon. Cottage was clean. We unpacked our clothes and went to dinner. Sunday morning we were going to take a shower but no hot water. We texted owner and he was at the cottage within the hour. Could not get it lit. Gas company came on Monday and determined the hot water heater had to be replaced. We hung in until Tuesday, no replacement and we left. Checked into two hotel rooms. Mike told me he would send our money back. The response from Mike was very professional and timely. His hands were tied by plumbing and gas company. We hope to go back next year and enjoy this cottage and its location to all we like to do

Location location location

This cottage is in a great spot. Walkable to beach, ice cream, long sands store and downtown (a bit of a hike for some). Cottage was adequate, nothing fancy, but we didn’t need fancy as we were not there a whole lot. Communication with owner was fantastic. We brought a fan, which helped to move the air around (it was a hot week for us).

Family Beach week

This was a great location and perfect for a group of 4 guests. The host is very responsive and helpful. It could use a deep clean but was ok overall. If we had a small group I would definitely rent again.

Great Beach Cottage

Perfect little beach cottage about a minute walk to Long Beach, and a ten minute walk to downtown. We packed lunches and spent most of our time on the beach. Downtown has some great take out restaurants and beach shops too. If you're looking for a convenient, no frills no fuss spot in York to chill out and relax, this is it.

DISGUSTING FILTH

THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING FILTHY MOLDY REFRIGERATOR, COB WEBBED COVERED, FECES AN URINE ON TOILET, RUSTY OLD RAZOR IN SHOWER, STAINED MATTRESS COVERS, I COULD TELL YOU WHAT THEY ATE IT WAS ON THE FLOORS. WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT IN THE ENTIRE WORLD I AM IN THE PROCESS OF SENDING PICTURES WITH MY CASE NUMBER

York Vacation

This was a great spot right on Long Sands beach and walking distance to Short Sands. We never needed the car, which was great. The location was amazing for children. The street that the cottage is on is basically private and the kids and can run around and play with each other. Highly recommend this cottage for the location and kid friendly atmosphere.
