The place and property were perfect for us. We all ventured out in the day to different locations and then all came back to eat together at night. We enjoyed the campfire for smores and charades. My husband and I stayed a couple of days by ourselves while everyone ventured out and it was perfect. The 2 little 5 year olds enjoyed going from cabin to cabin to visit and have independence. the whole family enjoyed themselves and were sad when it ended. Definitely would book again. Thank you for opening this beautiful house to enjoy!
5 out of 5. Such a great getaway for us, we'll definitely need to go back in the summer months. Both cabins were very clean and welcoming, thanks Jayson & Lisa! The views were amazing from every window and the decor was on point! ♥️🌄🏞🛀🧘♀️💯♥️ my only recommendation because I'm a high maintenance brat is to invest in a cordless vacuum 😅. Until next time, MG 🙂
Very nice and spacious cabins. Beautiful views , clean and very well stocked. We were a few families and there was from a 3yr old to a 65 yrs old and we all had something to do. It was a wonderful place for our families to spend time together. I would definitely recommend!
This property was beautiful! Full of snow, great hiking, amazing views. The houses were roomy with tons of beds. The owners responded to requests very quickly.
My family would gladly rebook this property!
We had 7 different families meet at these cabins for Thanksgiving! We had everything we needed. The cabins are in great shape and felt like home. Plenty of room for everyone. The outside is amazing! We watched deer from the couch, the kids played in the snow, and the hot tub is very large. We couldn't have picked a better place! The beds were all amazing! Memory foam or better! These cabins are ideal for a large group of people! We can not wait to come back. Also the owners were great. They answered all of my families questions with in a few hours (and we had many while trying to organize Thanksgiving up there)! Thanks guys
Cabins were in great shape and owners were very helpful with appropriate communication

Awesome place !
We were very happy with this place ! Only thing was driveway was pretty muddy when it rained, but we had 4x4 so not much of a problem. If you like a remote get away not close to town to enjoy nature this is the place !

About the host
Hosted by Tauna Glyn Lieser
Caleb has lived in Colorado his entire life and is an avid adventurer. Caleb seems to do it all: rock climbing, water rafting, mountain biking, skiing, and more! Part of why he loves Colorado is that all of it is in our own yard and we can do things year round. Tauna moved to Colorado from Nashville and thoroughly loves the outdoors. She does a lot of the same activities as Caleb, but with a slower pace. Hiking is one of her favorite things to do in Colorado; another activity that can be done year round! Tauna and Caleb got married in May 2021 and have been enjoying sharing their favorite parts of Colorado with the guests they host.
Why they chose this property
This property is a true sanctuary. We love that it is so close to Woodland Park, Colorado Springs, Lake George and Breckenridge so there are limitless options and activities. Tauna's favorite part of visiting the cabins is enjoying the quiet of being away from the cities, and getting to see all of the stars at night! Many shooting stars have been seen here! Caleb loves that we have so much land; if you don't want to drive you can just step outside and walk around the property and find something new! We love hearing the memories that are made up here. We have hosted weddings, family reunions, company retreats, and engagements. Every group we host has a special story that has been created here.
What makes this property unique
You will likely see at least 3 shooting stars each night if you look up for a short period of time. We are about 25 minutes from Woodland Park & Cripple Creek, 60 minutes from Colorado Springs, and 90 minutes to Breckenridge. There are so many trails around for hiking and exploring. Whether you are a vacationer looking to get away from the hustle of the city or somebody looking for a home base after a day exploring the state, this is the place for you!
