Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Super clean, very easy check in. Communication with Gigi was excellent and very prompt. My kids enjoyed the pool and game room. Kitchen was decent size and had everything we needed. We loved seeing all the bears on the mountain!
We had my parents visiting from out of town and wanted to do a fun stay in the mountains after our youngest graduated. This was the perfect place. Close enough to fun spots in Gatlinburg (check out the upside down house and titanic museum) and Pigeon Forge (Dollywood). And then the actual condo is exactly as pictured and had breathtaking views of the smoky mountains and sunrise! We explored a lot during the day and left early in the morning and got back late, but neighboring cabins had bear sightings! We plan to come up again and book with GiGi. The check in process was smooth and she is very quick to respond. Can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. Even the check out process was easy breezy!
onderful views, road to top of mountain was not as bad as some of the reviews said. We were in a 4 door ford and it was 1 or 2 in the morning when we arrived, just use common sense when driving up the mountain on narrow lanes. We have been on way worse. Gigi was very responsive. Weather was amazing this yime of year! Thank you for sharing your spectacular views with us, we had a great time

Not again...
The condo itself was pretty nice for the cost. Except for the shower was dirty and could scrap it off with my fingertips. The back patio was so small barely room to open door to. Pictures make it look much larger, I thought it had lounge chairs on it. Was one of the main reasons i booked it. The pool and hot tub area of the complex was a disappointment. Not clean or well maintained. We ended up leaving after the first night and got a hotel. Was offered a refund only if they were able to rent it right away. Which didnt happen. It was a lesson learned for me.
The condo was exactly as described. No issues on arrival or departure. We saw a bear our first morning there while enjoying our morning coffee on the deck! I just want to stress to anybody who rents the property to heed all of the warnings and keep your food secure because the bears will smell it from quite a distance and come to investigate if they happen to be near the area which is what we witnessed as a family was packing to leave our first morning there. Yes, the road to the cabin is narrow and curvy (you’re staying in top of a mountain, it’s to be expected) but well worth the drive! Overall wonderful stay and experience!!
Not for me! Didnt realize the road was so curvey, way on the top of Gatlinburg Mountain, dont get me wrong view was amazing. Then once you get to the place, you had a big bank to walk down, no luggage carts and being on 2nd floor was quite the hassle. Pool is in walking distance however full. The host was awesome though she answered all my questions I had very quickly, however signal up the isn't, so it was hard to even message out until we found our way in and got on wifi.
Everything would be great if the laundry machine worked
Great location and fantastic view. We stayed here for Christmas/New Year vacation. The apartment is on the top of a mountain (make sure you drive up the winding road in the day time, at least for the first time). There is only one laundry machine in the building and unfortunately it didn't work during our stay. Also, the laundry detergent was not provided. The building is little bit old and doesn't have very good sound insulation. The host is very responsive in our communications.
We enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing even though no bear sittings! Owner was very easy to communicate with and check in/check out was easy. I would suggest more towels /wash cloths being available. When you have three adults and two children for three nights there was not enough towels and wash cloths to use one per person each night. That would be my ONLY suggest. Thank you for a great place to stay!
nice view of the smokey mountains, saw bears close to the condo everyday, very cool to see. Condo was comfy and clean. Bit of a drive up windy hill side from Gatlinburg but worth it for the view.
It was a little hard to find but for one we were putting in the wrong address, there are other ski.... names. The property was nice the view was amazing. Easy and access to pool and outdoor equipment was nice. Only thing I didn't care for was the amount of time it took to get into town but that is no fault of the rental.
This condo was wonderful. It is at the top of the mountain about a 10 minute drive up but totally worth it for the view. We have 4 kids ages 6-12 and it was just the right size for us. With 2 full bathrooms and the futon in the living room we had enough space. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and a fridge with an ice maker. Anakeesta was 20
Minutes away (amazing) and the trail head for Laurel Falls was also 20 minutes. Highly recommended.
The condo was great! The host was awesome! The views were spectacular! The bear sittings we’re amazing! We saw at least one bear every day except the day we left. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back!

All was a success! The condo was amazing with views and amenities. The only thing was that I did find some left behind items from other guests. And there were only 5 towels for the five of us which staying for a week was almost an issue. I just didn’t think that through but a few more towels would have helped-even in kitchen extra would have helped. But we loved the stay and we’re very happy!!! I forgot to leave a tip for the cleaning folks. If you have a way to do this, please let me know! I was hurried to get us all out before 10am! Rough with teens!
Thank you!!!

Why they chose this property
In early 2016 we took a self-planned vacation to High Chalet - this exact complex - and we fell in love with the area. We can't retire yet - but we plan to settle down in the Great Smoky Mountains soon - and this is our first step into paradise. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
This hideaway in the mountains is very special - surrounded by majestic mountains and fluffy clouds - wildlife all around. You can hike right from your front door or just to the nearby picnic tables and enjoy the fresh air and nature at its best.
