Awesome View Romantic Chalet is just minutes from Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and downtown Gatlinburg home to Blake Shelton's new Old Red Restaurant. Ober Gatlinburg amusement and ski park is only 20 minutes away.
You could spend much of your stay at Awesome View kicking back on the porch rocking chairs, listening to the breeze rustling through the trees and admiring the spectacular views of Mount Le Conte.

You can ooh and ahh at the towering trees and star-studded skies while indoors as well, thanks to the large windows and double-height ceiling of the living area. Awesome View's kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’d expect from a home away from home—maybe even more. Appropriately Named "Awesome View"

Location was great, only about 10 minutes from town and 15 minutes to Sugarland Visitor center. But that's not what made this a great stay. There are probably hundreds of places to rent in similar locations, but there are few with as awesome of a view as this place! The owner was wonderful too! Easy to work with and great communication. Will definitely be staying here again!

beautiful location up high in the hills

This is a very nice cozy location for two with an incredible view from the porch. We had a question that I sent to the host and received an immediate response. Would be happy to stay here again.

Listen to the wind

From a relentless work schedule to sitting on the porch just hearing the wind approaching through the valleys was awesome. It’s a great cabin situated on a mountainside no distraction. . We went to see the sites each day and couldn’t wait to get back just to hear the wind approaching through the valley and passing through the trees above.

What a beautiful view of the mountains! Colors were just amazing! Close to town. Miss Anita was quick to respond to any issues we may have. Eager to make sure our days and nights were perfect! Absolutely wonderful vacation. Look forward to it again next year.

We had the best stay! We picked a bad time to go with all the recent flooding and did end up getting moved to a different cabin but Mrs. Anita was eager make sure we were safe and cozy for the weekend. We plan on going back and we’ll definitely be staying with her again! :)

Awesome!

We had a wonder stay stay. The view was fantastic and we even had a visit one evening from a mama bear and her 3 cubs. They didnt stay long but were so fun to watch. Kitchen was nicely equipped for 2 people, and bed was comfortable. The front porch was my favorite spot with such an amazing view. It was so pleasant grilling on the charcoal grill outside and taking in the beauty. The only items that were missing and would have been nice to have were a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, a box of tissue in the bathroom and maybe a starter of coffee. Would most definitely stay here again.

Beautiful View

We only stayed one night here. It is a cozy older cabin. The view in front is nice. We were transferred to another cabin because of the internet being out but also 1/2 the candles don't work nor can you use the jacuzzi tub without making a huge mess. The property manger was amazing and took VERY good care of us, she made this the best weekend gateway possible!! She is a gem do not lose her!!
