Let your adventure begin! Lake Brophy is a quiet, 289 acre lake perfect for fishing, skiing, tubing, and swimming. Take a boat ride around the island or head to the nearby Brophy Park. The park has direct access to the Central Lakes Trail as well as space to play.

Back at the cabin, you can relax in privacy on the shore or one of the lakeside patios. Feel right at home in one of two living rooms with views of the lake. Take a relaxing bath in the Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy outdoor cooking, a full kitchen, and indoor or outdoor dining. End your day around the campfire on the shore.

This home away from home has 5 queen beds and twin bunk beds. After a goodnight's sleep, wake to beautiful lake views upstairs and down. Step on the upper patio to watch the sunrise with your cup of coffee.

This home was great the Location was great all paved drive way and roads leading us to it. There was enough space for my family and 2 others. Great place for our families to meet and enjoy our time. Deck space was amazing cant belview what it would be like in the summer

Girls weekend!

Great spot for a girls weekend! Clean and spacious, with plenty of space to lounge both inside and outside. We loved kayaking on the lake in late fall. Only downside was the water pressure was a little low. Otherwise we had a great time!

43rd consecutive stay at Lake Brophy

Living accommodations were excellent for our three family units. There was more than ample supply of kitchen items, towels, games, refrigerators, etc. The pontoon was a great asset. We especially appreciated the opportunity to check-in early, We were VERY impressed with the owners' rapid response to our questions and our requests for information and assistance. Looking forward to being able to return next year and beyond.

Fantastic Lake Property

Great location at a nice lake. We loved the fire pit, spacious house with great views. Spacious rooms and all amenities available. It was early fall so we did not get in/on the lake. Bike trails were close and accessible.

A lot of space for family to enjoy outside and inside!

House is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Views are beautiful. We were able to rent their pontoon and our group of 9 were able to be together all at once. (3 children). The deck is huge and has railing all around so little ones can wander off. Also the garage is a "game room" and one evening it rained and we didn't care if we couldn't have a bonfire that night as the game are was so fun! Would love to stay again! Thank youQ

Amazing July 4th Lake Home Family Time

The home and property are very nice. Well kept. Nothing fancy- but very nice for a family get together over the 4th! Our group was large: four children and 6 adults. We had a blast! Brophy Lake is not large, but it is a super fun lake where you can swim, jetski and pontoon on! This property has everything you need! Large living room area, outdoor deck for eating! Lots of water equipment too! Kayaks, paddleboards, small pontoon if you want to rent it which we did. There is a very nice fire pit by the water too. We had 3 nights of S'mores and sitting around the fire pit! The owners have worked hard to think of everything you need as a vacationer! Thank you to Sarah and Jason! Our 5 nights were amazing memory making family time!

Great space for multi generational stay

We had our family of grandparents, parents, and kids stay here. The boat dock access with kayaks available for use was such a great amenity! The big kids loved the foosball and air hockey games. The whole family appreciated the extensive seating for dining. Great stay!

Great times!

Had a great time at this home. We met the owners when they were moving garbage containers to the road. Honestly we could have done that, however, the owners have it in the booklet about the property they will take care of moving them to the road. They fixed a minor problem with one of the tv's while they were there. Seemed like very nice people but we never saw them again during our stay.

We both grew up in the Alexandria area and could not think of a better place to raise our 2 kids. There is something magical about the lakes area. We love the memories we made as kids at the lake and want to share that opportunity with others. We are a teacher and a business owner in Alexandria.

Why they chose this property

For years, we looked for the perfect lake place to enjoy with our family and friends. We wanted this property because of the private shoreline and back yard. We love the amount of outdoor and indoor space. We can have many guests without feeling crowded. We both fished on Lake Brophy our whole life and currently live a half mile from the property because we love this area. We wanted a cabin to create some great family memories. We want to give that same opportunity to others.
