House is nestled in the town of Saugatuck, just far enough away from the noise for quiet nights and just close enough for a less than 3 minute commute into town. Nestled on 2+ acres (and on the Clearbrook Golf Course), you’ll have a quiet, calm mornings with beautiful nature views. This now 5 bedrooms, 3 baths with the ability to sleep 12 (each with a bed; 3 kings, 1 queen, 2 bunks -twin top, full bottom) and up to 16 (2 on a queen air mattress, 2 on the pull out). It makes for a perfect family getaway, golf weekend, or couples getaway.

Home description:
Main Floor: 1 bedroom (king), full bath (shower), kitchen, living room, dining space, and breakfast sun room.
Upstairs: Master suite (king) with separate shower and bath, washer and dryer. Above the garage spacious bedroom.
Lower level: 2 bedrooms (Bedroom #3 bunk room: 2 bunk beds, each twin on top and full on bottom. Bedroom #4 1 queen bed with large walk in closet), 1 full bath (shower), living room, pullout couch and 3 season sunroom (can sleep in).

Family friendly including a pack and play crib, toys, board games, and outdoor fun for the kids.

Location is everything, our home truly offers the best of both worlds: the remote tranquility of an idyllic wooded setting and the proximity to some of Southwest Michigan's most lively, artful, and friendly beach towns: Saugatuck and Douglas. Easily visit local farms and orchards, tour the nearby Fenn Valley Vineyards and explore the beautiful countryside on your bike; then, take a short drive into town where you'll find casual and formal dining, bars and nightlife, grocery and pharmacy, shopping, art galleries and cafes. The best summer

We annually take a trip to Michigan and have stayed in four different towns. We all agree that this house suited our needs better than any other we had rented. The owner was very responsive, the location was perfect, the house was so clean and welcoming.

Wonderful family getaway

The house was the perfect place for our family to stay for a few days of fun and relaxation. The kitchen is well stocked, house very clean and comfortable, location is really convenient to both Saugatuck/Douglas and to Holland. Owners were great hosts with good communication.

Great for family vacation

Nice house, very clean and welcoming with extra touches for guests. Communication was excellent and Ari checked in with us early in our stay to make sure we didn’t need anything or have questions. Location is great; close to highway for a quick hop to Holland or a hop and a skip to South Haven, yet nestled in a quiet private wooded neighborhood. We used this property for family vacation with our adult children and some grandchildren. There was room to spread out and nice spaces for eating and playing together.

Forced Family Fun

The house was amazing. So much room, clean, great communication with owner. Location close to everything, safe area. My family had a wonderful time together, would HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful home. Clean. Owner was helpful. The playhouse should not be in use. Playhouse is ran down and didn't seem safe for the kids to play on. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for everything!

We enjoyed staying here. It’s close to downtown. The host was great. Checked in with us to make sure everything was ok the first day. Appreciated the little extras like enough soap, toilet paper etc to get us through several days. The baggies, garbage bags etc was nice so we didn’t need to buy all that when we would only be using a couple while we were there

Fun 5 days in a great home, beautiful setting!

We enjoyed this property with the large driveway for basketball, and scooter and bike riding for the little kids. Proximity to the beautiful golf course was great for the two golfers in the group. Oval Beach is a great spot and we like Saugatuck for ice cream stops. The kitchen was a little tight for more than one cook but well appointed and clean. Our only real disappointment was the outdoor play area...tree house/climbing equipment were really unusable because of the soft, sliding slope it was built on. One of the swings was ok, the other not. We chose this property partially because of the play area but what we found wasn't what we saw in the photos in the listing. Overall, though, we liked this place and had fun. The bedrooms were good and Ari was good host to work with. Thanks, Ari!

Just a heads up

I first contacted VRBO about this issue and did not get a response. I am posting this as a heads up to future renters. They have a video camera in the basement and second floor bathroom (I have a picture of the bathroom camera). Rather than make a fuss, my daughter just unplugged the bathroom camera. While it's illegal to have cameras in area where, "people expect some degree of privacy", VRBO also forbids them inside any property. Just a heads up to all of those who dont think a camera should be in your daughters bathroom.

Fantastic place for our group stay

Super comfortable, updated, clean, and perfect for our group! The open kitchen/dining area easily accommodated all for meals. Quiet mornings on the sun porches overlooking the woods were lovely. Location offered quick access to all that Saugatuck/Douglas has to offer! We golfed and took long walks through nearby neighborhoods. Shops, restaurants, beach and kayaking were a short ride from the house. Thanks Ari, for hosting us!

Incredible Space in Saugatuck

We had a wonderful visit to Saugatuck! Ari and Alicia were very attentive in answering any questions we had! The space was clean and plenty of room for two families with kids to spread out! Our kids loved the basement and spending time in the bunk room! They also enjoyed exploring the woods outside! Wonderful location that is a short drive into downtown Saugatuck but also a tranquil space where you can enjoy some quiet

Best week in Saugatuck!

We (three adults and five teenagers) had a fantastic week at this house in Saugatuck! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and relax without being on top of each other. We took trips to Southhaven and Holland, but mostly spent time in Saugatuck. We brought bikes and easily rode to downtown Saugatuck. We brought a travel hammock and found a perfect spot in the front yard for it. We went to Oval beach a handful of times during the week to swim and watch the sunset. We rented a donut boat from Retro Boats. We rented kayaks in Douglas. We climbed the steps to Mount Baldy and we rode the dunes ride (if you want to do this, they book up fast! Book online a week in advance). We also enjoyed the firepit and the well stocked game closet. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a getaway in the woods or the beach!

Awesome Long Weekend

Great Girls Trip

Ari's home was the perfect destination for our girls trip to Saugatuck! Close to everything, including golf, resturants, shopping and groceries!! There was plenty of space and the accomodations were super comfy. The kitchen was also fully stocked for our meal planning!! All of our questions were immediately answered and check-in and check-out was a breeze! I would highly recommend Ari's home to other travelers!

Relaxing Weekend

My husband and I had a delightful and relaxing stay at this lovey property. The property was very clean and well-stocked, as well as centrally located to downtown Saugatuck and the highway, but tucked away in a very nice wooded neighborhood. Super understanding and thoughtful owners

Unfortunately we had a death in the family just a few days before our big weekend in Saugatuck to stay at the house. I immediately messaged the owner Alicia and she was incredibly understanding. She made me breathe easy and went above and beyond to help me cancel and refund our deposit even though she didn’t have to. I’m grateful for these owners and looking to come back soon to stay in their place!

Awesome Family Get Together, the house was perfect!

We had a great time in Sauguatuck. The house was just a few miles from the downtown area which we actually liked because it was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the house, it had lots of room for everyone, nicely furnished, great beds to sleep in (upstairs bedroom felt like an apartment), clean and comfortable. The host, Alycia, was a great communicator. She responded to any questions and was on top of it through out our stay. It was a perfect place for my family.

Perfect get away

While this was my first time visiting the Saugatuck area, I think this is an ideal location. Just minutes from Saugatuck and Holland, and right next to a golf course! Hose was beautiful (pics didn't do it justice) and we'll appointed. 2 sunrooms with great views of forest and wildlife (saw deer multiple x). Had a great week there, plenty of room for 10 of us with room to spare. With 3 baths and 2nd living area on lower level the place would be ideal for 2 families. I would definitely recommend and would definitely come back. Owners were great to deal with.

Saugatuck large hone

We were 9 people—6 adults and 3 kids. The house was perfect for our family. Everyone had privacy, plenty of room to be together too. Beautiful wooded lot, great kitchen and bathrooms. It was all we could have asked for and more!!
