Disappointing
The advertised property in Guadeloupe presents itself as a complete house, yet it's partially rented out, with a permanent tenant occupying an apartment in the basement. Despite the description promoting the rental of the entire house, this arrangement leads to direct interaction with noise-sensitive neighbors.
A definite highlight is the remarkably spacious terrace, offering ample room and potential. However, these positives sharply contrast with the drawbacks of the rented apartment. The advertised square footage seems exaggerated, as precise measurements reveal strong discrepancies, likely due to the inclusion of the terrace in the total area advertised.
The apartment itself is remarkably small, and the furniture displays clear signs of wear and tear, with some pieces being broken. There's a strong musty odor of dampness permeating the space, and the walls show signs of swelling, accompanied by a distinct smell of mold.
Additionally, it's worth noting that we've traveled frequently to Guadeloupe, experiencing various accommodations, and this one stands out for having by far the poorest value for money.
