We had an awesome 😎 stay. This property is exactly as advertised. Clean and well stocked. We love this shoreline. Sunsets are always beautiful!! Thanks,Nancy for sharing your property with us!!
Wonderful property stocked with everything you could need. Stress melts away rocking on screened-in porch watching sailboats and sunsets on lake. Thanks for everything.
The property was just as listed, with the most well appointed kitchen we’ve experienced in any house we’ve rented. The view of the nightly sunset is beautiful every night and easily viewed from the screened in porch. Our teenage children did not complain of being bored all week (which is a record). Highly recommend!
Nancy's cottage is stunning, inside and out. The large living area had everything we needed and more. The kitchen had every amenity you could ever want! Had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning it was so comfy. The spa quality bath sheets were terrific after a shower. The large screened in porch extended our outdoor living. Our waterfront beach made kayaking a breeze. This is a place we could enjoy year after year. Great vacation, great cottage, great everything! Thanks to Nancy, we had a wonderful experience!!
Cottage was just as shown in pictures, very clean and well-stocked with extras a renter might forget. Owner was very helpful and responsive. The lake is shallow for quite a distance out from shore in this area, which probably explains why water was warmer than most other Lake Champlain beaches we’ve visited. Alburgh area was probably quieter than usual with very few Canadian visitors since border is still mostly closed.
This rental was very clean and had all of the amenities. Awesome sunsets. Property is exactly as shown in the pictures. The lake is just beautiful there. Thank you, Nancy!
Our family usually goes to the Acadia area of Maine for a week every summer, but this year because of Covid we had to switch things up and plan an instate getaway. We feel extremely lucky to have found this incredible house right on Lake Champlain a mere hour from our house. Nancy the owner is absolutely delightful and included very sweet personal touches to welcome us. The house is well stocked with all we needed (or forgot to bring). Exceptionally clean and tidy. We had a very relaxing time and will try to rent from Nancy again in the near future.
We really enjoyed our time at this location. The owner was great with quick responses and it was a cute cottage. The private lake access was great (although quite rocky so my kids got a bit scraped up despite water shoes), the road was super quiet, and there was a huge lawn that we could use for games which we enjoyed. The cottage was a bit small for 6 people and there was little privacy as there were no "normal" rooms with doors, but we could make it work for 6 nights, especially since we used the screened in porch a lot. We loved the amenities including the kayak and canoe and other little things like lots of tissue boxes, nightlights, and bathroom stuff. We especially loved the jetted tub. Overall it was a great time in an affordable house and I would recommend it.
The booking process was not great as spoke to someone overseas that I could not understand and they make you pay the whole stay at once
But once you get past them the landlord is excellent . Very conscientious about making sure her guests are comfortable and well accommodatesd She went the extra mile and that makes all the difference!!!
This was an absolutely beautiful, efficient, relaxing cottage on the lake. The kids were happy playing in the lake...with it being shallow enough that they could play for hours without mama worrying too much. The yard was big enough to play frisbee and bean bag toss, which was provided. Although there were close neighbors on both sides, it was quiet and peaceful and did not feel crowded at all. Nancy was so pleasant and helpful throughout the whole process...even leaving a lovely note and bottle of wine to welcome us to the home. We would absolutely stay again and recommend highly!!!

Why they chose this property
This is such a light filled open space perfect for family get-aways or sharing with friends. We are just steps from the lake with a mixed sand and small pebble beach.
