Perfect place to unwind. We came without any plans, woke everyday, sat outside with a cup of coffee and watching the wildlife and would hike up the mountain before heading to the Florissant Fossil Beds or to Victor, Cripple Creek and Manitou Springs. Clean, comfy, cozy, lots of spices for cooking. We had a great time at this cabin.
Beautiful cabin in the woods, perfect for six or so people. Very clean, modern, and family-friendly. We brought a group of guys and had a great time. There is even a fooseball table in the game/laundry room!
One thing to note is that there are *no curtains* in the bedrooms, so the morning sun will get you up and if someone is on the front porch they can see into the bedroom.
We came to visit some family and the cabin was the perfect amount of space for my family. All of our needs were met.

This cabin was great! It was quiet and had great views. It had everything we needed and was very clean. Felt like home. Owners were easy to communicate with as well.
My family and I wanted a short stay in the woods away from most of civilization. This cabin was very nice and we had a great time. The views are really nice and so is the surrounding area if you want to hike around a bit.
Enjoyed our stay. We saw lots of wildlife, hiked and even did a little sledding! Everything was as expected. Only complaint would be access to the grill was difficult because of ice and frozen snow piled up on the deck.
Lovely cabin! Everything was so nice -- our 11yo daughter loved the loft. Good quality water, towels and linens were clean and comfy, kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Great property, wish we could have stayed longer!
We enjoyed the beautiful location near Florissant as we traveled around Colorado. Thanks to other travelers for leaving condiments behind for us. We did the same! We would love to come back in the future and bring friends.
We really enjoyed our stay. They had everything we needed, plus. The view was great. We loved the privacy and being secluded. The beds were comfy. I highly recommend.
We had such a wonderful time. The Cabin was perfect for our family of 6. The kids all shared a room. Being able to let them explore was wonderful. The stars were breathe taking. If we ever come back we will definitely be returning to this cabin. Home owners were AMAZING at replying to any questions we had!!! Great Location too. Just far enough away to feel country but close enough you could explore. We loved it here.
When we first walked in was it not believe how incredibly clean the cabin was. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. it was great hiking up the hill behind the house and getting to see an incredible View. We will definitely recommend this cabin to others!
Perfect setting for a family vacation where you can mentally disconnect and enjoy hiking, games, cooking, fresh air, stars, and family time. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend to any family who gathers for quality time together.
Had a really good stay cabin was very clean amazing view seen all kinds of wildlife right at the cabin highly recommend

About the host
Hosted by Tauna Glyn Lieser
Caleb has lived in Colorado his entire life and is an avid adventurer. Caleb seems to do it all: rock climbing, water rafting, mountain biking, skiing, and more! Part of why he loves Colorado is that all of it is in our own yard and we can do things year round. Tauna moved to Colorado from Nashville and thoroughly loves the outdoors. She does a lot of the same activities as Caleb, but with a slower pace. Hiking is one of her favorite things to do in Colorado; another activity that can be done year round! Tauna and Caleb got married in May 2021 and have been enjoying sharing their favorite parts of Colorado with the guests they host.
Why they chose this property
This property is a true sanctuary. We love that it is so close to Woodland Park, Colorado Springs, Lake George and Breckenridge so there are limitless options and activities. Tauna's favorite part of visiting the cabins is enjoying the quiet of being away from the cities, and getting to see all of the stars at night! Many shooting stars have been seen up here! Caleb loves that we have so much land; f you don't want to drive you can just step outside and walk around the property and find something new! We love hearing the memories that are made up here. We have hosted weddings, family reunions, company retreats, and engagements. Every group we host has a special story that has been created here.
What makes this property unique
You will likely see at least 3 shooting stars each night if you look up for a short period of time. We are about 25 minutes from Woodland Park & Cripple Creek, 60 minutes from Colorado Springs, and 90 minutes to Breckenridge. There are so many trails around for hiking and exploring. Whether you are a vacationer looking to get away from the hustle of the city or somebody looking for a home base after a day exploring the state, this is the place for you!
