About this property
Villa Bono with Beautiful Private Pool
Beautiful and private 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa located in Partinico, Province of Palermo, in Sicily. Enjoy the gorgeous inground pool surrounded by a beautifully landscaped property. This villa provides all the luxuries of home and a whole lot more. 12 km or 7 miles from Palermo airport and 30 km or 19 miles from Palermo's city center where you can find luxury shopping and beautiful architecture, history and museums. The villa is also close to the most beautiful beaches. With 1,000 kilometers of coastline, Sicily offers plenty of beach options ranging from sandy smooth to dramatic rock formations. Close to Partinico and good for quick trips are the lovely seaside resorts of Mondello, San Vito Lo Capo and Cefalù. (Mondello is 12 kilometers from the city, San Vito Lo Capo is about an hour drive and Celafù is about an hour-and-a-half drive.) A private driver and vehicle are available at additional cost to explore the beautiful, surrounding sights Sicily has to offer.
In Sicily the summer is long and the warm weather comes early and leaves late and the travel experience is especially rich. Greeks, Romans, Arabs, along with most every European power in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, left their mark on the island’s culture, art and architecture. Visit the many Greek and Arab ruins, its fabulous archaeological treasures, Mt. Etna, Taormina, amazing vineyards and so much more!
With 1,000 kilometers of coastline, Sicily offers plenty of beach options ranging from sandy smooth to dramatic rock formations. Scala dei Turchi, near Agrigento, with its swirl of limestone and marl cliffs offers one of the most striking coastal settings anywhere. Isola Bella close to Taormina, called the “pearl of the Ionian Sea” is a nature reserve formerly owned by a British aristocrat, Frances Trevelyan, rumored to have been a very close friend of the future King Edward VII. Its beach is small and pebbly, but the location is idyllic.
Sicily has 19 villages that were designated among Italy’s most beautiful towns by I Borghi Piu Belli d’Italia, a private association dedicated to the preservation of small historic sites. Among the villages are Castelmola, a hill town with fabulous views of Taormina, and Sutera, 70 kilometers from Palermo, with many medieval structures, an Arab-era district, and a recent history that welcomed migrants fleeing Africa and the Middle East.
