We are ready to welcome you to our Ocean Front Three Bedroom Condo located at the beautiful Palms Resort in the heart of Myrtle Beach!

Our three bedroom condo can sleep up to six guests and is available exclusively through the official On-Site Rental provider. Your stay will include all linens and towels. You will also have access to our front desk.

Overall was good. The pools were a little on the bad side and only one of the 2 hot tubs worked. Our room was perfect and just what we expected and in a great location.

Palms resort

Pros- location is decent, near attractions. Decently clean, great beach front view/balcony area. The kitchen looks like is has been recently renovated and has updated appliances. Cons- Definitely not the most glamorous place I’ve stayed and very overpriced for the quality. I believe the pictures don’t reflect the true look of this place. Walls could definitely use a paint job. Living room furniture felt uncomfortable like it needs to be clean or just replaced. We used an extra blanket to cover the couch to make it more comfortable to sit on. The bedroom with the twin beds is a neglected space, just bare and dark. Hallway bathroom has very rusty shower rod.

The area was very nice. There was no one at check in. No bell to ring for service.,u had to literally say hello anyone there to get assistance. The hallways was nasty and disgusting but I was on 16th floor. But the room was really nice. The July 4th with fireworks was amazing.

Booked 3 nights accommodation but could only stay one night. Room was deplorable. Furniture was dirty, blinds missing, bathroom had black mold and rusty.

Pictures don't always tell the truth.......

We fell in love with this place when we first saw it online and were so excited to rent it! But when we got off the elevator on the 16th floor, our hopes began to fall. :( My husband had to use his shoulder to get the front door open because the door was so warped! The place is much older than the pictures portray. The furniture looks like the owner cleaned out his basement with odds and ends. The end tables don't sit flat on the floor. The couch USED to be a recliner on either end that neither work now. The majority of the "electrical outlets" either need to be tightened up or better yet, replaced. They are dangerous! Every time you try to unplug something the face plate almost comes off . And some don't even work! I know this because I am an electrician's daughter! The "third bedroom" is smaller than my walk in closet, which isn't that big. Adults would probably get claustrophobic in there. The second bedroom bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab. I've slept on better beds in China and that is saying alot! When I called the desk to ask for an egg crate pad, the man said, "Oh we encourage our guests to bring any "special needs" things with them." I replied, "I did not know I would need something special for a BAD BED!" And that "this is my first time here and would probably be the last." His reply? "Well, that's fine." I don't remember when I have been spoken to with such disdain and such disrespect! The tiny patio off this second bedroom was basically large enough to put one chair out there which was filthy, as was the "patio". It also had no curtain or shade on the door to keep out the sun or the heat. I put up a black garbage bag to fix that. The lock on the door also did not work. As for the main patio? It was disgustingly filthy and rusty! My husband loves to sit on a nice patio at the beach and read. He did NOT go out on this patio because the furniture was so shockingly filthy and rusty! There was a monumental buildup of mold and crud inside the track for the sliding door. So, as my title said, "pictures don't always tell the truth". We thought the pictures on the place were heavenly. What we got was a nasty bit of hell instead. Not only would we never stay in this particular unit again, we would also not stay in The Palms again. There was hardly ever anyone at the front desk and the one time I tried to get assistance from someone, I got nothing but a smart mouth and hateful attitude! NO THANKS! p.s..I took pictures...

Lots of frustration

We arrived AFTER the front desk closed but thought there would be no problem. However, the code we were sent to enter our door was the wrong code. I tried several phone numbers to get help, even the number we were told to use for an emergency, It took THREE HOURS before someone sent us the right code. Once we got in we found a chair on the balcony that was propped up by its broken fourth leg. As I walked by, it fell over. VERY GRATEFUL none of us had tried to sit in it. They would have gotten hurt for sure! Overall, the condo was not in the best of shape. The kitchen was completely missing a cabinet door, toilet holders were broken, rusted and rotting furniture on the balcony, the couch was filthy dirty, the slats on blinds were brittle and kept breaking and falling down, and the majority or the bedspreads had stains all over them. Oh, and when I went to make a small complaint to the manager the next morning about us being delayed so long to get in our condo after our very tiring trip, he gave me a lecture on being grateful. WHAT?! He literally told me that he had just got off the phone with a lady who was crying because she hadn't been able to take her kids on vacation for so long. WHAT?! Why in the world would he be telling me that unless it was to show how ungrateful I WAS for having to be delayed THREE hours to get in our room that night??? I called him out on bringing up this other lady...his answer was that we should just all be grateful. I told him that I thought at least the person who sent the email with the wrong code should simply be made aware of the mistake so they could be more mindful next time. He asked if I wanted to him to write her up. I said, of course not! Didn't want her to get in trouble, but it would be good for her to know of her mistake. At that, he informed me that she had worked there for 3 years and has NEVER made a mistake like that before. Since it was apparent that he was a terrible manager that knows NOTHING about customer service, I turned and left and tried to salvage what was left of our stay after being belittled by someone called a "manager".
