About this property

Historic oyster shack.

Picturesque New England oyster farm cottage on a private island overlooking an intertidal salt pond. Built in the 1700s. Stay includes all you can eat oysters and private tour of the tidelands. Fun fact: Hummock Island Oyster Farm is a sustainable aquaculture operation run by a local family that has been in the business for over 100 years. The oysters are delicious and the property is one of a kind. Guests may also use the small oyster skiff.
