The pull out sofa mattress was very uncomfortable, thin and needed cleaned. The bedroom behind the fireplace the mattress was very hard/uncomfortable so i would recommend upgrading. Otherwise our stay was amazing and cabin was very clean

Mountain memories

My family and I stayed at Mountain Memories two years ago and decided to visit again. Each of our experiences were terrific. The location, views, cleanliness of property, property managers, and the property itself make the experience relaxing and stress free. We enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying the breathtaking views. Taking occasionally dips in the hot tub and venturing into town to shop and check out the local attractions. This year we visited Anakeesta, and hiked the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We shopped some of our favorite shops in town and ate exclusively in our cabin. The kitchen in the cabin has just about anything one would need to prepare a nice home cooked meal. Thank you for our stay! We have made some incredible and exciting memories here with my wife and two young daughters (7 and 11). Oh, and by the way, we did see a family of FIVE bears when traveling back from town! A truly exciting experience.

The cabin was amazing! It was everything that was described in the listing. We walked into a clean and inviting atmosphere. The mountain views were breathtaking. The beds were comfortable. The owners were very quick to answer any questions I had. They were so nice. The cabin was stocked with items that you needed incase you forgot to bring everything you needed. The hot tub was a plus in the evenings. Downtown Gatlinburg was a 7 minute Drive from our cabin. If you stood on the front porch we could see the fireworks at Dollywood at night. We will definitely stay here again! Can’t wait until our next trip!

Great cabin & location!

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cabin was in a great area and private. We liked that you could easily get back to the cabin from either end of Gatlinburg which is helpful when traffic gets bad. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and the hosts had great communication! We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!

So Private!!

This cabin was exactly what we needed. Perfect location and private. Easy access to hikes 20-30 minutes. The weather was gorgeous! We were hoping to see some leaves change but we were a little too early. However, the scenery on hikes were just as magical. Check in and check out were a breeze. The kitchen was fully equipped with all our needs. Hot tub was clean and warm. Grill was also perfect along with the fire pit. Nothing like sitting next to an open fire at night. We didn’t have to contact hosts except to thank them for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this cabin!

Location Location

The location was perfect. The view from the back deck was wonderful. The cabin was extremely cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed just as listed. The king suites were perfect, all on one level for those that don’t care for or can’t to do steps. Most of all the owners were very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions or issues. Perfect Mountain Vacation

We felt so welcome staying is this beautiful home. The cabin provided everything we needed for our vacation. The mountain views from the deck were breathtaking. The location and proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was perfect. We enjoyed spending an afternoon at one of the many community pools. I wish we could have stayed longer.

It was good. Poperty was clean except for some mold on the shower curtain liner in one bathroom. We asked for early check in, but did not get it. Was told they had to inspect the cabin before we could have access. However, we sat on the porch over an hour before check in time and no one came to check the cleanliness while we were there waiting, unless they confirm the cabin's condition another way other than a physical inspection. The host responded quickly to questions prior to our stay. But did not respond quickly the first day of our stay. There were a pool and exercise room to use, but directions on the location was not clear. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and i would recommend the property to others. The inside, back deck and hot tub was nice.

Absolutely perfect family cabin

This cabin was nothing short of perfect for our family. It is a super clean cabin, comes with some children/toddler silverware and dishes which was SUPER nice. The location of this cabin is incredible with easy access to Gatlinburg trolley and other locations. The views from the deck are picturesque and we were even able to see a bear visitor one night off the back deck in the woods below. 🐻 The hosts are super helpful and great communicators with the guests. Overall, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. We hope to stay at this cabin again with our family in the future! Thanks again Jim and Kristine for allowing our family to call your cabin home for an incredible week! 😊

Why they chose this property

We relocated to Tennessee from Michigan 12 years ago and discovered Gatlinburg. After looking at many properties we chose Mountain Memories for the stunning views and its private, but convenient location. . We also love that the property is brand new. The location puts you away from the hustle and bustle, but is close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Easy access to Ober Gatlinburg, Anakeesta, and the Smoky Mountain Visitor Welcome Center.
