If you get a chance this place books fast. The manager Sue is very hospitable, she answer question normally within a few minutes but before 30 mins to an hour. Place was super clean, stocked with dishes, linen, towels etc….
The rental was way nicer than we expected. My friends each took a bedroom and i took the small space with the loveseat in the front part of the rental. It worked out great! The park across the street is way cool! It has a tennis complex with an outside restaurant bar. You can get coffee drinks and beer and alcohol there as well as food. Lots of trees and grassy meadows to walk through. It also bost a reflecting pool with many way cool sculptures to see. I hope to stay here again on my next adventure to St Louis.
We had a great stay. Susan was a great host, easy to communicate with and provided everything and more to make our stay comfortable. We would stay again on our return to visit family.
Everything was great my sister left her iPad there and there cleaning crew found it property manager called us and helped to get is back to us very helpful
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We liked the location because it was close to some of the places we wanted to visit. The only thing that was concerning was the smell of cigarette smoke, which seemed to fade as we were there. It is a 50’s property: the floors creaked. We appreciated the quick responses when we had questions.
The check-in process was easy. Sue let me know the code to get the key and gave instructions of where to park 24+ hours before arriving. She also double checked to make sure the sleeping arrangements would work for my group. The only negative part of the experience was the bedding on one of the beds had a couple stains, and the house cleaner showed up almost 2hours before we had to be out of the house (she was nice) we felt rushed on our exit.
This was a perfect place for our family to stay after a ballgame. The home was comfortable and clean. Check-in, parking, and check-out were a breeze. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!
This place was perfect for our needs. They even provided a pack n play and high chair for my 1 year old son so it helped with reducing our packing. :) He also found a few trucks he really enjoyed playing with!
The location was easy to get anywhere we wanted.
We booked this lovely apartment/ home for the evening to host a bachelorette party. The house was lovely, the shower had good water pressure, the beds were clean and comfortable, it was like a home away from home for the evening, and the owner, Susan, was very helpful and nice!
We stayed in Susan's place during a recent visit to in-laws who live close by. They location was perfect, not only because of family nearby, but also being close to the gorgeous park, Ted Drewes, and shopping, while getting to enjoy our favorite St Louis neighborhood. The duplex was very comfortable with flexible sleeping arrangements and all the ammenities we needed in the kitchen. And the a/c was very effective! Communication was quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Would have been fine, BUT!
The communication was good, neighborhood was quiet, and the house was fine for this area, BUT the house smelled like smoke. It was in the walls. We highly considered looking for a hotel because my sister, daughter, and I didn't want to spend 3 nights smelling that smell. We didn't love the spaghetti sauce on the walls either, but that bothered us less than the smoke smell for sure. I gave three stars because lack of clean air had more weight for us than other factors. We spent all of our free time in the breezeway, where it smelled fine. I'm so sorry, I rarely leave negative reviews...I'm still thankful we had a safe place to stay.
Cute place and I did not realize until our last day how cosmopolitan the location is with many various ethnic restaurants. I’ll be visiting that area more often!
We could not get the TV to work… And the owner was very helpful and even offering to come over and help us out, but in the end it didn’t matter much because we didn’t really have much time to watch TV anyway
St Louis Hills neighborhood is well known thoughout the city as a safe, walkable area made up of classic, mid century homes having spacious rooms and unique design features. Its location near two beautiful parks is one bonus, and the other is location within 15 minutes of major St Louis attractions.
