Come to the shores of Lake LBJ for your next getaway in the Texas Hill Country! This family-friendly home, on two-and-a-half acres, sits just a block from the river, offers a spacious interior, and puts you close to all the nearby activities. Relax on the furnished patio with your morning coffee, borrow one of the kayaks or canoes and head out onto the water for the day, and then return for family movie night on the flatscreen TV.

What's nearby:
You'll be just one block from the lake, so entertainment is always at your fingertips. Rent a boat or a jet ski to cruise on Lake LBJ, tour some local wineries, ride horses, or cliff dive at Devils Waterhole. Take a day trip to enjoy spelunking at Longhorn Cavern State Park or hike the nine miles of trails at Inks Lake State Park.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.


Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: There is a dock across the street if you are looking out the backdoor. Gate appears to be locked but it is not. The dock area is for launching boat and kayak's only. Please do not hang out at dock area.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Spacious and charming

This cute house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of outdoor space and trees. View of the lake from the back of the house and kitchen window. Rooms are large, and beds are comfortable.Will definitely come back!

Peaceful

The neighborhood was so peaceful. The house was nicely arranged. Loved the deer and the birds that blessed us with their presence as we sat on the back porch am and evening. The view of the lake was perfect for us. House needs a few things like dish towels ( there were only 2) more silverware, a fly swatter ( we bought one and left it), a can opener. More face clothes. Thank you for allowing us to rent your house. It was a good two weeks.

Great house to relax and see the local sites

Very quiet neighborhood, beds were comfortable. Clean and everything in working condition. Enjoyed the nice couch in the living room, and the open layout of the property. Outside patio perfect size for evening relaxation. Availability of local river access with ramp and dock a nice surprise.

Deer deer everywhere!

Good location, short driver to town, state park, winery, etc. If you are bringing your own boat this is perfect. House had everything we needed. Very quiet area.

Family visit

Very nice neighborhood. House could use some maintenance here and there. Nice layout, plenty of room, big yard, nice covered porch with a view of the water. We saw many deer every day, a lot of new born fawns. Also saw an armadillo will 4 babies and a roadrunner. Over all it was a pleasant stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute house on LBJ lake

The house had almost everything we needed for our three night stay. What would have made it perfect is if the water dispenser and ice maker in the Refrigerator worked. The beds were a bit soft for us since we’re used to firm beds. But it was wonderful to see deer in the backyards every morning and at dusk. There were kayaks and canoes but didn’t get a chance to use them. The house is centrally located to go to Johnson city or Enchanted Rock Fredericksburg. Overall was a very pleasant stay.

Good for fast get away

Clean house and. close to everything in Kingsland . Bring your own supplies trash bags, paper towels , dish soap etc very little supplies left . Kitchen is stocked minimally. There is a Keurig and regular coffee maker . We came in town for a baby shower and not the lake so this was perfect and had plenty of space for my group of 2 couples and a baby. They had a high chair in the dining room . There is a king bed with a trundle bed twin that’s in the master area . The master has a large walk in showers and single sink with good counter space. There are 2 other rooms with queen beds and 1 bath with tub in between the 2 other rooms and a 1/2 toilet room off the kitchen. Overall nice clean place to stay for the price point.

Our Kingsland stay

We loved that the house was spacious, and quite cozy. The beds were comfortable for all. The only downside was the outdated microwave, and the very rusty non-functional refrigerator ice dispenser. No access to quick ice was an huge inconvenience for our family. The slow-to-non existent internet was also a setback during our stay. Other than that the backyard view was spectacular and the kids really enjoyed watching the deers walk by. It was a nice stay overall.

The property was very clean. The community is very peaceful. The roaming wildlife was a wonderful treat. The drive to Fredericksburg was scenic. All around a wonderful place to get away and relax.

Nice quiet home. Loved the deers in the backyard. WiFi was terrible!! Pretty much nonexistent. Not stocked with spices like so many VRBO s I’ve stayed at in the past. Needs a can opener also. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean

Great family getaway

Great spacious house in a quiet neighborhood. The walk-in shower was a huge plus after a day on the lake. Plenty of bath and swim towels. We would definitely stay here again. The kayaks are in need of repairs (flat tires, duct taped hull, not enough paddles), but we enjoyed taking out one of the canoes. Dining table is a nice size, but the wood finish is sticky needs refinishing. Otherwise, no major complaints.

We have a Sister across the street on the water front . We gather there for meals and water fun. This property is convenient for our family to stay. Only problem is enough towels for the stay without washing during the stay. We had 5 adults and one teenager two kids .

Enjoyable getaway

Very roomy and comfortable. Perfect supplies for our cooking meals. Extra touches- soap and specialty shampoo, cards and wine opener gift. The master bath shower drained slowly, might need work on it. The slider window above kitchen sink was unlocked when we arrived. Locked it immediately. Lovely house.

So peaceful

Stayed the weekend with family. The back porch is very peaceful, especially in the mornings and evenings when the deer come around and the birds are singing. The house has everything you'll need. Short drive to the slab where we spent hours enjoying the water. Highly recommend!
